I avoided learning this piece for over 40 years. I just thought it was so dull and uninspiring. But recently I turned to it and especially this performance really kicked me in the butt to learn it. Thank you Matt Palmer for such a beautiful rendition

Heartfelt interpretation and meticulous playing on, of course, a gorgeous sounding guitar. (Wish video didn’t keep refocusing on background, though.) I especially liked how the scales throughout were played lyrically rather than just too fast.
