I think it's interesting to think about 32:52 and how spirits linger if they're "recycled" in terms of like what we see in Coco. How spirits or a part of spirits can visit as long as they are tied to memories or stories being passes down, but once they're forgotten, they are reabsorbed and rematerialize in a new existence.
I think that we as witches are generally eclectic with our music...in most of us anyhow, and are all over the place with it as we are very in touch with our emotions and are rooted into everything around us, we make everything a part of us and the many different styles of music can bring out various aspects of us or call to us in different ways. A 'residual haunting', aka, an echo haunting is when a spirit is caught in a loop and isn't able to interact with anyone at all. On the other hand, you have 'intelligent hauntings' where the spirit is able to interact and affect the physical environment deliberately in some way.

I was in ritual with some friends once and the lead was playing a meditation on a CD. However, he forgot to turn OFF the CD after the meditation played so, while we're all relaxed and in a good place, suddenly the stereo blasted "I wanna shoop, baby" by Salt-n-Pepa.

I’ve been an art student my whole life, so my hands were literally channeling energy unto my creations. For the past two years I’ve worked as a biologist, so I was healing and caretaking for plants, yet again, hands. Sometimes I just make wards with my hands! I’m already 1:15 through this video and it hit me like a ton of bricks- all the times I’ve smelled ‘phantom cigarette smoke’ I’ve been smelling a spirit close to me. My mother smoked. I’m wondering if it has been her, but I’m sad thinking I would know HER spirit next to me. Maybe the next time I’ll talk to her and try to identify who it is. I thought I'd give my piece on how I feel, hear, listen to spirits, etc. It is very similar to how I feel Gods and people. I feel their energy through their intend and emotion. I feel their emotion in my Heart Chakra, I feel their intent in my Solar Plexus, then both of those feelings, together, are sent to my Crown and Third Eye equally. I would let the divine energy aid in my comprehension of what the entity is trying to say to me. Only when I am trying to communicate with the dead and divine entities, however, do I let that energy go to my crown and third eye. If I am confused on what exactly the entity wants, says, or intends, I consult my runes for a definitive answer. Ps. Loved the vid! I LOVE this video and the two of you together! I recently read a book called Many Lives, Many Masters by Brian L. Weiss MD and he talked about the collective pool and being recycled back into other lifetimes. He also talked about having to learn certain things in each life to sort of “level up” or grow and that there are some higher beings that are in the collective that have never been in our world. I found this book so interest and definitely recommend it.
As a language-phile, I blush as I admit 😳to a nearly obsessive tendency to correct people on how they communicate, how they use the language-English or any other. But I don’t care too much about casual or slang speech; what really irritates me are academics or professionals within a particular field, say nuclear, who don’t (or WON’T) say the word correctly, as in adding a separate syllable with, "nuke-U-ler"! Those, of all people, should know how to use their own field’s lingo and jargon correctly; they are the very defenders of the correct use of the language in their areas of expertise!!! Sorry to sound like an old silver-haired school marm, but as a former U.S. Navy journalist, I hold the proper and defined use of language on a very tall standard. Great collaboration ladies, I hope we’ll be seeing more of these. You two have a great "partner" vibe.
I’m in an ancestral home that four generations have lived in, and we 100% have a ghost or spirit (whatever) here. It bothered my mother when she lived here. It’s definitely bothered me. She thinks that it’s Frank, the original builder of the house who died in the house. If so, he’s a pestering sort of spirit and there have been times we’ve genuinely thought about leaving the home over him. And yes-he touches. He’s a touchy invasive spirit, especially to women. I’ve had him brush my hair off my neck, launch a chinchilla treat packet off the top of her enclosure and into my chest at an arms length distance and a horizontal angle-so no, it wasn’t just falling off the top of the enclosure or it would have fallen “down”, not across a distance to hit me. He touches my husband and I in our bed (nothing sexual is going on in these moments). It feels like fingers lightly drumming (sort of a light fluttery drumming sensation) up and down legs, backs, etc. Sounds pleasant, right? It’s not. I’ve had it go up my inner thighs and it’s “not” a good feeling. It’s a violating feeling. He’s bothered us so much in bed sometimes that we can’t sleep well. I was once really tired and beat down feeling when we were renovating (I read online that this can anger spirits) and I sunk into a hot bath. I pulled the shower curtain shut because I wanted to feel closed in, and to block the light above. I wanted to relax. The shower curtain slid right the fuq open and even pushed into a crevice between a cabinet and the tub side which was tight enough that you have to jam it in there with fingers. It jammed in there on its own but in one swift smooth motion. I was so dam- scared and upset that I jumped out of the tub without washing my hair and wrapped a towel around myself and left the bathroom crying. My dad called right then, and I wasn’t able to speak-just cried my eyes out while he asked me what was going on. It felt like a power move to me. Like he wanted me to know that I wasn’t alone even in my most vulnerable private moments of undress, that I couldn’t shut him out. He’s done this to my husband before too, so it’s not just a girl thing. But instead he turned on the sink faucet while Hubbs was sitting on the toilet. The handle isn’t round, it’s the lever style. It’s visually obvious if the handle is in the off or on position. The handle and water were off when he went in, and he didn’t touch it. It turned to the “on” position while he was alone in a locked room out of reach of it. It feels like he’s letting us know we aren’t alone in these super private moments. It sucks.
That sounds super uncomfortable & invasive. I've lived in a house like this, setting boundaries can help... if you really don't want them around then you have options. I protect my space now, to choose what I allow around me. My mom used to tell me that I can demand any spirit to leave me alone, then I did some more research and have better control now. I'd recommend talking to someone from a metaphysical shop as they could help and give some more in depth advice! If not, then a professional should be more than willing and able to help. Best wishes to you and your family! You and everyone else deserves to feel comfortable in their home.

Woah, there is 222 comments as I go to type this (my birthday is 222 which is why I find it to be really amusing and fun), but i'm halfway through this video and you talk about this feeling of just knowing you're connected to other spirits and I can heavily relate, your comment specifically about the tree caught my attention because it happens with cats, but for me I have one tree that is my actual cousin, another one is my close friend for years now and is actually married to the wall of vines that grows beside it! and there are two specific cherry blossom trees who have brother and sister relationships to my plant daughter, whom grow in my community, and a third cherry blossom tree who is the mother to those other two (I consider her to be a different aspect of myself!)

For the cigarette smell part of when the spirits come, when my paternal grandfather comes to me and I know that he is there around me. Even though I don’t like any cigarette smells at all, it is weirdly comforting.

1:37:30 I'm this kind of person 100% if they don't ask, I usually don't tell. I'm super private and I'm of the mind that my business is my business. Only one person in my life (my best friend) knows I'm a witch, other than that, I haven't felt the need to say anything, even with people I know would be okl with it. Also, language is about COMMUNICATION. If communication was successful, who cares? I've actually had the opposite happen: people would make fun of me for pronouncing english words/phrases correctly in normal conversation. I wasn't correcting anyone, just saying a phrase or movie title without the "accent". (I live in a spanish speaking country and english is my second language)

I’m already 1:15 through this video and it hit me like a ton of bricks- all the times I’ve smelled ‘phantom cigarette smoke’ I’ve been smelling a spirit close to me. My mother smoked. I’m wondering if it has been her, but I’m sad thinking I would know HER spirit next to me. Maybe the next time I’ll talk to her and try to identify who it is.

I thought I'd give my piece on how I feel, hear, listen to spirits, etc. It is very similar to how I feel Gods and people. I feel their energy through their intend and emotion. I feel their emotion in my Heart Chakra, I feel their intent in my Solar Plexus, then both of those feelings, together, are sent to my Crown and Third Eye equally. I would let the divine energy aid in my comprehension of what the entity is trying to say to me. Only when I am trying to communicate with the dead and divine entities, however, do I let that energy go to my crown and third eye. If I am confused on what exactly the entity wants, says, or intends, I consult my runes for a definitive answer.

I recently read a book called Many Lives, Many Masters by Brian L. Weiss MD and he talked about the collective pool and being recycled back into other lifetimes. He also talked about having to learn certain things in each life to sort of “level up” or grow and that there are some higher beings that are in the collective that have never been in our world. I found this book so interest and definitely recommend it.

As a language-phile, I blush as I admit 😳to a nearly obsessive tendency to correct people on how they communicate, how they use the language-English or any other. But I don’t care too much about casual or slang speech; what really irritates me are academics or professionals within a particular field, say nuclear, who don’t (or WON’T) say the word correctly, as in adding a separate syllable with, "nuke-U-ler"! Those, of all people, should know how to use their own field’s lingo and jargon correctly; they are the very defenders of the correct use of the language in their areas of expertise!!! Sorry to sound like an old silver-haired school marm, but as a former U.S. Navy journalist, I hold the proper and defined use of language on a very tall standard. Great collaboration ladies, I hope we’ll be seeing more of these. You two have a great "partner" vibe.

I’m in an ancestral home that four generations have lived in, and we 100% have a ghost or spirit (whatever) here. It bothered my mother when she lived here. It’s definitely bothered me. She thinks that it’s Frank, the original builder of the house who died in the house. If so, he’s a pestering sort of spirit and there have been times we’ve genuinely thought about leaving the home over him. And yes-he touches. He’s a touchy invasive spirit, especially to women. I’ve had him brush my hair off my neck, launch a chinchilla treat packet off the top of her enclosure and into my chest at an arms length distance and a horizontal angle-so no, it wasn’t just falling off the top of the enclosure or it would have fallen “down”, not across a distance to hit me. He touches my husband and I in our bed (nothing sexual is going on in these moments). It feels like fingers lightly drumming (sort of a light fluttery drumming sensation) up and down legs, backs, etc. Sounds pleasant, right? It’s not. I’ve had it go up my inner thighs and it’s “not” a good feeling. It’s a violating feeling. He’s bothered us so much in bed sometimes that we can’t sleep well. I was once really tired and beat down feeling when we were renovating (I read online that this can anger spirits) and I sunk into a hot bath. I pulled the shower curtain shut because I wanted to feel closed in, and to block the light above. I wanted to relax. The shower curtain slid right the fuq open and even pushed into a crevice between a cabinet and the tub side which was tight enough that you have to jam it in there with fingers. It jammed in there on its own but in one swift smooth motion. I was so dam- scared and upset that I jumped out of the tub without washing my hair and wrapped a towel around myself and left the bathroom crying. My dad called right then, and I wasn’t able to speak-just cried my eyes out while he asked me what was going on. It felt like a power move to me. Like he wanted me to know that I wasn’t alone even in my most vulnerable private moments of undress, that I couldn’t shut him out. He’s done this to my husband before too, so it’s not just a girl thing. But instead he turned on the sink faucet while Hubbs was sitting on the toilet. The handle isn’t round, it’s the lever style. It’s visually obvious if the handle is in the off or on position. The handle and water were off when he went in, and he didn’t touch it. It turned to the “on” position while he was alone in a locked room out of reach of it. It feels like he’s letting us know we aren’t alone in these super private moments. It sucks.
That sounds super uncomfortable & invasive. I've lived in a house like this, setting boundaries can help... if you really don't want them around then you have options. I protect my space now, to choose what I allow around me. My mom used to tell me that I can demand any spirit to leave me alone, then I did some more research and have better control now. I'd recommend talking to someone from a metaphysical shop as they could help and give some more in depth advice! If not, then a professional should be more than willing and able to help. Best wishes to you and your family! You and everyone else deserves to feel comfortable in their home.

For the cigarette smell part of when the spirits come, when my paternal grandfather comes to me and I know that he is there around me. Even though I don’t like any cigarette smells at all, it is weirdly comforting.

1:37:30 I'm this kind of person 100% if they don't ask, I usually don't tell. I'm super private and I'm of the mind that my business is my business. Only one person in my life (my best friend) knows I'm a witch, other than that, I haven't felt the need to say anything, even with people I know would be okl with it.
Also, language is about COMMUNICATION. If communication was successful, who cares? I've actually had the opposite happen: people would make fun of me for pronouncing english words/phrases correctly in normal conversation. I wasn't correcting anyone, just saying a phrase or movie title without the "accent". (I live in a spanish speaking country and english is my second language)
