    It's incredible to see the astigmatism & spherical aberration demonstrated with the beads through the z-stacking. Nice job!!!

    thanks for the vid! One question though, do you know the reason for those asymmetrical 3D PSF that you got on the Nikon system. Was it that the obj didn't have appropriate spherical aberration correction for the particular emission excitation and/or emission wavelength that you were imaging at? Or was it because of wrong immersion media and/or lack of coverglass thickness correction? Just trying to learn about different sources that cause these asymmetrical 3D PSF.

    in my system, sometimes the rings appear in one direction, sometimes in the other and sometimes in both the directions- totally inconsistent. why would that happen?
