It's Happened! ULA Just Sued SpaceX Starship Launch In Florida & Can't Reach Moon...
This is unbelievable! Following Blue Origin, ULA has now filed a lawsuit against the FAA to block SpaceX's Starship Florida plan, citing concerns not only about environmental impacts but also questioning Starship's ability to reach the Moon and Mars. It's ironic that a company grappling with rocket launch and financial challenges is casting doubt on SpaceX's capabilities.
What exactly did ULA highlight? What are their intentions behind this move? And how will SpaceX counter these criticisms and demonstrate their capabilities? Join us today on Great SpaceX as we dive deep into these questions.
It's Happened! ULA Just Sued SpaceX Starship Launch In Florida & Can't Reach Moon...
Challenges in development are a given for any organization, and SpaceX is no exception. Ironically, their toughest hurdles often arise from their competitors.
Just recently, Blue Origin sparked controversy with their commentary aimed at restricting Starship operations in Florida. Not long after, another SpaceX rival, ULA, joined the fray.
ULA's CEO, Tory Bruno, recently penned a comprehensive 22-page critique highlighting numerous issues with the FAA's Starship Florida Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and SpaceX's plans. Beyond environmental concerns and impacts on local systems in Florida, ULA also emphasized perceived limitations of Starship that could hinder SpaceX's ambitious goals of reaching the Moon and Mars.
It's Happened! ULA Just Sued SpaceX Starship Launch In Florida & Can't Reach Moon...
Specifically, Section 2 of ULA's comment article highlights two main issues. First, concerning Starship's progress, ULA states: "As a threshold matter, the EIS must acknowledge that Starship is still in its experimental stages and that SpaceX's planned operations at LC-39A have evolved and continue to evolve. Starship is the largest rocket ever built, and it is currently tested at SpaceX's private base in Boca Chica, Texas. In prior test flights, SpaceX has experienced several technical accidents."
Next, addressing Starship's capabilities, ULA added: "SpaceX has acknowledged that the vehicle is not meeting anticipated performance levels. As a result, SpaceX plans to increase the size and thrust level of the vehicle stages to address this performance shortfall. This would result in environmental and safety issues greater than those witnessed at Boca Chica."

I hope who ever reviews the lawsuits, takes in to account the ACTUAL development and progress these other "space agency's" have built ( starliner and vulcan) and launched(?) into space when deciding to legally cripple real space pioneers like SpaceX. Earth which weight predict 600 trillion ton does not fall at the Sun because of centrifugal in orbitting, on the contrary it does not be thrown far go out the orbit line of hold by gravity at the Sun as orbit center. Gravity and centrifugal is equal called Equillibrium, thats why until now Earth which we was inhabited always rotate and circulate the Sun. Now we justly take example : how if the gravity used and centrifugal is negated? The Earth will float far leave the Sun. So that centrifugal can be used to fly far away if gravity eliminated. Finally how to eliminate gravity?
It’s way rotate part of aircraft by horizontal. When that rotation faster centrifugal force getting greater and the gravity getting smaller, finally it lose the gravity and the aircraft start flying. Of course people would surprise: how the aircraft can keep rotate without fulcrums? Thats why we named that aircraft Shuttling System that is aircraft likes two disc adjoining attached in the midle as fulcrums:
      A. The Top part, we name Positive rotate to right, and the edges is getting thicker and havier.
      B. The Buttom part, we name Negative rotating to left, and the edges is getting thicker and havier.
      C. Middle Part , we name Neutral, air crew placed and also machine and everythings turning Negative and Positive at the same time.
The aircraft can liftup added with explosion from the engine. However that aircraft construction later, let the engineer doit it, and we are sure the aircraft will bulletproof and also waterproof.

Shouldn't be able to be sued by a competing space / rocket company. Should have to go through govt. NASA or something of the likes and then the gov sues if its not found to be mute. Right now its just "We sue them now, and slow their progress by a year, the cost to sue, with a very small chance to actually win, is less money then falling another year behind and loosing potential contracts and such down the line. Plus, they have to spend money just to counter to keep their name clean." Such a BS strategy. Same strategy some big competing companies do to small ma-pa shops to shut them down.

So they rent/lease space at a rocket launch site and built facilities there but the facilities and people are not able to withstand or otherwise deal with rocket launches unless, of course, it is their rocket launch.
The courts used to throw this nuisance crap out the door, why do they even give this crap the time of day?
Is the judiciary making money adjudicating these nuisance fights????????

Pure Speculation from ULA … everything they are saying is to try and make SpaceX and Starship look bad. The tragedy is their own failure to be competitive or even Capable … they obviously don’t like the SpaceX process because they probably can’t afford to be as iterative. For ULA to talk about timelines they need to get their own Act up to speed . Blue Origin? Yeah them too!

Obviously they can't compete. They could have used these resources had they a chance but instead they choose to drain away resources from their competitors. With Ariane now flying again the field is crowded and ULA, despite favorable government contracts, is falling behind. Sadly because we need all of these companies. Maybe a bookseller isn't the best choice to lead an aerospace endeavor.

Sadly, NASA has gone from a premier space engineering establishment to a bureaucratic engineering management establishment.
This bureaucracy is in the business of building expensive infrastructure that must be sustained with evermore public funding. Most of the, purported, rocket launch companies fit well into this bureaucratic scheme. All budget featherbedding, and ever diminishing technological results.

Both Blue and ULA, criticizing others may give them the sense of accomplishment they're not getting from rocket building.
CEOs can't lead their teams to space so they're leading them to the courtroom.
