- Well, the Browns are in a crisis that nobody thought they'd be in. They're 1-4 and they have the worst offense in the NFL. Things aren't getting easier and they have to make some tough choices soon.... would one of them be benching Deshaun Watson? Our Tony Grossi has all the answers.
Every Brown fan who abandoned both there sense of human decency and their common sense to embrace the Watson deal deserve this failure of a football franchise!

I think the defense as a whole gives up during the game because the offense is so awful. It's embarrassing how bad the offense is.

So far the biggest play of the season for the Browns was made by the punter. Corey Bojorquez pinned the Jaguars deep in their own end leading to a safety in the next play. That’s it. That’s the highlight of the season. 😂

You might want to check the cap hit the Browns will take if they move on from Watson. This trade will negatively affect the Browns for years to come. I get your frustration though.

I just got done watching the game films breakdown. Watson does not see the open receivers and bails on a clean pocket. He is toast. They can’t possibly start him Sunday and they know it.

I advise anyone to subscribe to Gamepass or whatever just to watch the games this season. It allows you to see all 22 camera angles on the field during the game.... The thing that blows my mind is everyone is really talking about Watson and the play calling (and rightfully so) however, the bigger aspect is the confusion during the play calling. I'm not kidding or exaggerating when I saw this.....More often than not, when a play is called, MULTIPLE people on the offense have NO IDEA what the play is, or what their responsibility is during that play. Yesterday for example, on the 1st and goal in the 3rd, the right guard and tackle were talking back and forth trying to figure out who was picking up the blitzing linebacker then pointing to the secondary!!!! On a standard run call.... The most notable was the 4th and long on the same drive, they called the play to Watson and Watsons hands go palm up towards Stefanski, the coaches start looking at each other, the play is called again and then Coopers hands go palm up trying to figure out what's going on and Jeudy is just standing there shaking his head. This isn't the first time that game that had happened. The coaches look like amateurs when 1 coach is on the sideline pushing out 2 guys to go in, another coach is grabbing one of the guys who isn't supposed to run in, before you know it numerous coaches are visibly counting, sometimes 12, sometimes 13 players on the field!!!!!! FOR OFFENSE!!!!!!! I want the offense dumbed down. Give me 1 game with a dumbed down, simple offense. Let Dorsey call the plays. Lets see Watson play the game of FOOTBALL. The money the Browns are paying I think thats the least they can do. (Don't get me started on the defense.... We just aren't talking about that because we aren't scoring touchdowns).

'This looks like when we played neighborhood ball and your opponent had to count out 3 mississippis before they cross the LOS and come for you! we had NO clue what we were going to run so you had everyone going everywhere and there was always the guy running no pattern like a bee outside its hive and another one always yelling 'I'm open I'm open!' every play!! All at the same time! It was chaos!' Like seriously!!!! I'm in agreement with what you said! I saw it as well!

We all know that he doesn’t care about playing for the Browns and the players around him know it. The problem is the Haslam‘s if Andrew Barry and Kevin Stefanski were to bench to Shawn Watson their jobs will be done. They made too much of an investment in him. The only thing they can do is hope and pray that the Haslam‘s want him benched or he take the cat hit And you have nothing to work with for the next three years. I wish the Shawn would just quit and say forget the contract I’m done, but that would never happen. I can’t wait till he returns to Cleveland and hear the stadium when they come out on the field as a Browns fan since I was a kid, I will always be a Browns fan, but this team is playing with no heart. You can see it everywhere. Stefanski is a good coach they bringing all these extra people and for what to help work with the Shawn obviously he doesn’t wanna work with the fancy and that makes it clear and they have a QB rating of less than 10 that’s pretty pathetic and Browns fans are not gonna tolerate it

The running game stats are always deceiving they break one or two for big yards but by and large it sucks Kevin was trying to run the ball in the first quarter and it wasn’t working.

So you get rid of Odell Than Baker by the way Baker and Mike Phifer won us are first play off game Kevin was in the basement. You got rid of Joe woods that year Kevin won Coach of the year. You get rid of Mike Phifer then you get rid of Stump Mitchell running back coach then you get rid of Alex who designed the offense but couldn’t call it which had Joe Flacco looking good and had you get coach of the year again. Agree. Watson was happy to sit for an entire season while getting paid and watching his Texans lose. Yet media pushed him as a franchise savior. No one has ever been paid more money to play less games than Watson.

They’ve got all the signs of just a bad team talent wise physically and mentally.If you watch the defense many times and this is the best part of the team Jim has players in position to make plays they don’t tackle or they take a bad angle and get beat. I think theirs hope for the defense if we had a offense they are on the field way too much the offense is so bad they just can’t maintain possession long enough for the defense to get a break.

I've moved on to the WSH Commanders at this point and will watch the Browns from afar. Jayden Daniels is everything Watson isn't both on and off the field. You can tell the Browns players are done with this guy. I think Watson might be trying to get cut so he can just take the bag and head out of town. That's not to say I think he's got anything left. He's washed.

This is a easy question, Yes Deshaun should be benched, he ranks dead last in many individual passing stats. and the team is 1-4 with him under center. No production. Losing record. Same team looked great with flacco and baker.
