Glad to see you back in action. I didn't know you were a machinist. I'm a machinist, CNC programmer, fabricator, and welder. Makes since that your products are so well designed now. Keep getting better. Can't wait to see what you have cooking there at HH.
@HolmesHobbies Mazaks are a great machining center. Some of the best guys are self-taught. I need to get up there one day to meet you guys. Bash, Crawl, Repeat!
This is certainly great news and an answer to our prayers!!! Wonderful news John and great to see you back up and running on all cylinders!!! Most Excellent!! BTW: The new T87 and T66 motors are the best in my TRX-4M's.
Glad you’re still kickin’, man! I was rear ended pretty hard on the 16th. Pushed into the car in front of me. While this accident wasn’t close to yours, man do I feel out of wack with sleep. That’s been rough!
Yess!!💪 So glad you are doing better mr. Holmes. And a speedy recovery for you going forward. I bought two of your crawl master motors, they are running awesome🤌.
Good to see you back in action. Hope the remaining recovery is complete and rapid. Looking forward to seeing what new toys your fertile brain has come up with.
So glad to see you back brother!!! Getting rid of the social media is a great feeling!!! Other than my RUclips channel and the rccrawler forum. I haven’t had any social media in over 5 years. Keep up the great work!!!
That's so awesome. You appear to be doing much better. I'm a little excited to see what you've come-up with. Plus, I need to save a little dough for two 10 pole Revolver's and another 2100kv 4274S.
G'day and welcome back......as a fellow mutlipule accident survior (one fatal, one i passed out and hit a 300yr old tree 2meter dia head on) in recent times im haveing major depression, PTSD and all forms of anxierty. Since 2018 iv been suffering from "shut in syndrome" and spend my days in front of my pc (as my way of going out in the world) and in 2020 in lockdown i found Crawling, and have been useing this hobby to get out, but expand myself in my room to do 3d printing ( as not to just sitting at idle in front of my pc) to use in the hobby. So i hope you have m8s and fam to keep ya lifted😇. From a m8 Downunder🙃
I'm glad to see you back up and running. Can't wait to see what you're working on both in products and more gardening tips as I started doing that last year. I took horticultural science when I was in high school like 20 years ago and totally forgot how relaxing and thinking is involved which I like.
Funny how recovering takes longer as we get older, isn't it? I broke a couple ribs over two years ago and they still bother me when trying to sleep. All your routines have been broken but it sounds like your brain made use of the changes and the time off. Good with the Bad. Great to see you've gotten back into the swing of things and I hope you continue to improve.
Glad your doing well! Can’t wait to see your new stuff coming up. I am a retired machinist and the best programmers and manufacturing engineers came from the machinist people who knew how it’s done and what’s possible on the machines. People with no machining experience not so good until years of learning in most cases.
Glad your ok. Im an automotive Technician and love knipex. Check out their plier wrench. They are awsome on anything with flat sides like normal nuts and bolts. On a side note, I've been looking for micro brushed esc for mini crawler thats not half the price of the truck. I can get an isdt for 1/10 for $25. Why can't I find something equivalent in 1/24 gor similar price?
The emt's didn't show up with a little rc ambulance did they? J/K You seem a lot better my man! Good to see you up and at it! Now I have whole scene in my head with rc toe trucks and mini police cars showing up 😅
How to tell your working with an outside the box kind of person: 1: They have radiators that mine bitcoin 2: When the bitcoin radiators get to hot they take their shirt off Glad to see your back at it 💪
Speaking for all of RUclips (yeah, I know...I shouldn't be, but I'm going to anyway), "Welcome Back"!!! Whether it's RUclips, or something else, I know what it's like to be 'out' for a while. Now, about those pliers........
So, my local rc shop out here in tacoma washintong wont carry your motors because they said you were an understudy for someone around the way and that you basically stole his work. Any word on that? As an open source software developer, that kind of rubs me the wrong way
I couldn't tell you if that's true that Mr. Holmes stole anyones work. Just because something is similar in design/function doesn't mean it's stolen. Take brushed motors, for instance. In the simplest form, they're all in a can, have an end bell end as well as having armatures. One can take that simple idea and improve it vastly by having knowledge on how everything works. John has been in the rc business for many years and is always working on ways to improve his electronics. My friends have some pretty old HH motors, and they still run like new. 1 even has the first revolver motor that's still super smooth all these years later. The 1 thing I can tell you is that all of his motors are top-notch and are well worth the money. If you have any issues, they are quick to respond and try to help you. John stands by his products, hense why I been using HH stuff and only his stuff in all my crawlers and scale/trail rigs as I never had any issues.
@HolmesHobbies Millions of Peaches, Peaches for Minimal cost over the life of the tree. Millions of peaches, Peaches for me and those willing to exchange money for goods and services.
Happy Holmes Hobbies is getting back to normal. Be pretty cool to see a HH Crawler builders kit.......
great idea!
Good to see you're recovering! Thank you for sharing. Also good to hear get rid of the unnecessary social media. I agree with that move.
Absolutely!
Glad to see you back in action. I didn't know you were a machinist. I'm a machinist, CNC programmer, fabricator, and welder. Makes since that your products are so well designed now. Keep getting better. Can't wait to see what you have cooking there at HH.
I'm mostly self taught, although when I bought the mazak new they sent an engineer to get me running and trained on that machine.
@HolmesHobbies Mazaks are a great machining center. Some of the best guys are self-taught. I need to get up there one day to meet you guys. Bash, Crawl, Repeat!
Good to see you looking well!

Cool, thanks
Was tiny truckin at Capen Park Sunday. Made me think of you and when we'd get another update. Good to see yah on the mend.

good to see u doing well. pew pew pew
Glad you are doing better. I like the idea of Bitcoin heaters replacing a traditional boring heater 🤯

Sorry to hear you got injured, glad you are back.
Pack them every day. Have them in every size available lmao 🤣
good stuff!

Well I'm glad i know about your heating and nothing rc related 😅
What brand mini-split? DIY units?
Is there a crawler course in the garden
So what’s gonna go in place of the old hobby house??
what you taking building down with digging a trench is pretty simple
That thumbnail, though! lmmfao
hahaha
check if revolver motors can do the trenching😦! just joking 😆

Is it normal for a new brushed motor to spark or smoke during break in?
So, my local rc shop out here in tacoma washintong wont carry your motors because they said you were an understudy for someone around the way and that you basically stole his work. Any word on that? As an open source software developer, that kind of rubs me the wrong way
Johns brushed motors do well in my scx10 3 jeep. Enjoy the speed and crawl ability. Quiet and smooth and only cost low 20s$.

does this mean you're going to make it to BTC? I'd love to talk nerd with you at the tent :)
not sure yet
Next video let's pretend your by yourself in there. 😂 jk jk
No offense, but can you just talk about that watch instead?
My favorite watch!
DAMMIT JOHN, TELL US ALREADY! SHUT UP ABOUT THE PEACHES unless there are millions of peaches, peaches for me.
peaches for free
@HolmesHobbies I mean, let's not abandon capitalism here.
I have 6 new peach trees
Peaches for minimal cost over the life of the trees, is more accurate than for free.
@HolmesHobbies Millions of Peaches, Peaches for Minimal cost over the life of the tree. Millions of peaches, Peaches for me and those willing to exchange money for goods and services.
Support Elon. He’s a patriot battling fascism albeit awkwardly. Anyways, more e-bike stuff please. Get well soon
