Don’t know if you’re still looking for a solution or not, but I’ve just started having this issue with my Switch, too. In my case it looks like the pins at the bottom of the Joy-Con Rails have become damaged from prolong use of attaching and detaching Joy-Cons. Because the pins are damaged, my Joy-Con isn’t making a solid connection to the Switch and keeps disconnecting. Now, I’m not saying the same has happened to yours, but the best solution I can recommend is either buying a new set of Joy-Con Rails from Amazon and try replacing them, or sending the Switch to Nintendo or a local repair shop to see if they can fix it.

​@@Mvxzzz my Switch was bought from a guy with little use (he provided a receipt). I never played with joycons off system. The right joycon randomly disconnects, but ironically if I play with joycons disconnected from console, no issues whatsoever in game play. 🙃🤷🏻

Hey, one way I've ACTUALLY found to fix it, is there's connectors on the handheld mode joycons and switch, clean them off by blowing which will likely clear dust/debris from the sensors (for handheld mode disconnectivity)

Where are the connectors located i'm kinda stupid.. i just blew in between the holes at the top between the console and the two controllers then i disconnected the controllers and blew on both sides...

My theory is that they’re worn out and dont grip on to the screen itself and the slightest of pressure that your palm of your hand puts on the bottom of the controllers, its enough to slide them up and disconnect them

My right joycon disconnects every 10-15mins then i have to take it out reset the joycon using that sync button then put it back in to work again.anyone have any idea what is wrong? Should I replace it? Its a scarlet violet edition so I really don’t wana replace it 😞
