Came back to this video to share that I just learned about something called fatty spew, which is what appears to be on your Gucci platforms. Apparently it's the natural oil in the leather reacting to fluctuations in temperature, which makes sense when we think about the temp and humidity differences between Tennessee and New York. Heat from a blow dryer is supposed to help, but if it comes back you can purchase spew remover. Hope this helps!

I design and make shoes in the UK and recognise that the white stains on your Guccis (video timing 2:33) is called 'Blooming' where the salts rise to the surface of the leather. To disguise this take them to your cobbler and they will use a specialist shoecream with a tint. I hope that helps. Have a fantastic 2024. 😀

I’ve gotten rid of it with using a blow dryer on high heat on a few of my vintage leather handbags. Do your research but that hack worked for me.

I have the Cara(??) the one shaped like the LV speedy. I love the bag, but strap is thin and of poor quality. But it's a flaw im willing to overlook bc his work overall is amazing, and as you said, we will him the space and grace to grow ❤

Thanks! I have Sales Associates at most luxury stores and they send me all the new releases. If you work with an SA, they will send you new items and keep you abreast of new releases.

Re your sandals I suspect that they are salt stains from the salt that is spread on the streets when snow is expected. It happens often. Use a 1:1 solution of white vinegar with water then polish and use leather protector. Very easy to treat once you know what it is. Simply polishing does not work.
You’re from the south right? ❤ in northern states they have to put salt on the ground because of snow and ice and it wrecks all our shoes and jeans and leaves that dehydrated look you are seeing. Maybe they can dye them for you.
