I've got to say ~ the opening dialogue was absolutely brilliant! Ohh, how I adore legend, myth, the recounting of a thing, from the beginning of their existence. To the writer ~ thank you, that is what sets apart the mundane to the exceptional! Blessings to all you bringing awareness to the survival of such a unique and magnificent "big cat"! Long live the Cheetah! 💖🐆
In late 2019 we had a super mum cheetah named Siligi who had given birth to a whopping 7 cubs. Sighting them during one of our game drives was spectacular
2:51 I can't decide what's more unbelievable - their speed or how they can change direction at that speed without losing balance. Amazing body rotation moment!
I love all animals especially big cats with of course the Cheetah my favourite BUT sometimes I get really pissed off when I see a Lioness steal the Cheetah hard earned meal leaving herself & growing cubs starving until she can make another kill.
I read somewhere that the reason that pronghorn sheep in Canada and the USA can run 40 mph is that they shared life with cheetahs. Not long ago, twelve or so thousand years ago, and there were peoples in NA at that time. Lions, big ones iirc, and Sabre Tooth cats. And lots of other crazy big predators too. Humans lived through that, we are amazing.
I don't know why Narrator's keep saying Cheetah can get to 110 KPH =70 MPH when they can't. Fastest recorded Cheetah was 104 KPH =64 MPH & that Cheetah was given a clear area in the serengetti.
I killed a cheeta with one hand when it attacked me in Madagascar trip maybe y won't believe but i did it alone in 3 minutes by blinding & squeezing neck of cheetah, if cheetah didn't attack me that day i would never have done that at all, i had to do that just for surviving , wish god forgive me for that , 😢😢😢😢
Why would you do such a heinous thing? Don't you realize that had that cheetah wanted to kill you, she would have? A bite to your jugular, or a deep swipe to it or your heart/chest would've be all was needed to end you! But he/she didn't! So why take her life? I think she was a female, and she had cubs she was protecting; for a cheetah will not attack a human without provocation or worry as a mother! Shame on you! You will carry this "stain" for the rest of your life; until the Day Of Reckoning is upon you, to which you will be judged for taking an innocent's life 💔
Good question re: AI. All the clips are pristine, and carry the story. Now with this nascent AI, gotta wonder if the story came before the clips. I’ve been slow to getting a filter for that (variation on my bulls**t filter), either this world is moving faster or I’m moving slower. Thought about the excellent camera placement artifact (too perfect), and the logistics of following the fam (which must be substantial, and could be a whole ‘nother doco - HEY, AI!,!). Thanks for bringing AI up. Cheers from Edmonton AB, where the leaves are now falling.

Lengau 🐆. A capital city in south Africa is named after it (cheetah). Called in sesotho language "Mangaung" (colonial name is Bloemfontein)
You are blooded, now. You are, indeed, a cheetah. Be the best one that you can be..
