This is why the churches are EMPTY! People are tired of the abuse. The Elders want to Lord over Gods people instead of shepherding them or discipling them.

Thanks for this video. Raised in the pentecostal way, I've seen everything and lately have been taking notice to the theatrics that go along with our culture. I will say this, some of the most profound messages for me, came without the hooping and hollering. Geesh....Enjoy the remainder of your vacation.

This is so interesting I’ve been working on my PHD & I have a Masters in human behavior and Clinical Social Work, many certificates & a Bachelors in Psychology, AA degree in Sociology +30 years of experience in the field. In responded to what the content creators were speaking about in human behavioraI terms & sharing that I was an Expert Witness in court where issues of Child Abuse came into play. Since the topic had to do with the alleged person stating TDJakes daughter stole her son,the alleged behaviors of some of the people involved were discussed. I stated my educated opinion and gave a little background info on myself. The 3 content creators jumped on me and said they all had degrees & I shouldn’t have said what I did. I didn’t want to get in a argument with them so I let it go. I thought they would of welcomed me but it seems at some level they were intimidated by me and the subject changed from the guest to me. So, yes some people are intimidated by academia and it’s valuable to hear feedback from all people. I believe all questions are valid and that there is no stupid/silly question except the ones not asked. I pray and wish the guest, God’s Speed!
I was brought up Catholic so to learn about COGIC is eye opening. I thought the majority of all people wearing the cloth were Master and PHD’s. I heard you say you were Republican. I would say our gifts are pulled from Romans 12:4-8. The functions of members of fellowship in church (phophecy, service, teaching, exhorting, giving, leading, merciful).
The 9 gifts in 1 Corinthians 12, are how the Holy Spirit empowers your function in the church.

When I look at these videos and see how “way out” some of these preachers, teachers ect are, I understand more and more what the Bible says about the last days. SMH, over and over again……………….
As I was saying before has we determine what is or what is not anointed. As in all things between our cultures, these opinions are subjective.

Most people in academia could consider themselves to be super intelligent, and they have a grandiose view of themselves. Therefore,
He is the one that ran and not calked
Therefore their opinion of other people is on a very low level. So, it really doesn't matter how we perform or how we act in church, they already have a very low opinion of anyone who is not like them. And that's how it is with many of us who are not academicly inclined. While they may enjoy a wonderful lecture, they often lack substance, and they are often as shallow as the people that they despise.
When we pray do God hears us praying and still work miracles?

It is clear that the Praise and Worship Leader was wrong and is looking for a response from the people for his performance. He should just get up and worship God and let the Lord deal with the people in the pews.

With regard to the lady called Celestial. The definition of Celestial is positioned in or relating to the sky or outer space as observed in astronomy.
The definition of astronomy is the branch of science that deals with celestial objects, space, and the physical umiverse as a whole.
Her name alone doesn't sit well with my spirit. All she needs in front of her is a crystal ball, and she would look like a fortune teller. I can't take her seriously and if her ability is rooted in the science of astronomy I want nothing to do with it.
I think there are just too many titles in the Church; more titles than Corporate America; then too much nepotism; abuse of tithing
So if a person or persons are walking towards a well because we do not want to affend that person we should let them go into the well? Did not God told us to speak the truth because the truth Will set us free? I really do not get you on this and i love watching you and listening to your teachings, but SWJ I cannot understand what you are saying here. What about these people souls? Should we be dealing with coulture or Gods word. Should we not try to correct others errors? Should we sit in a church with a person like Celestial and say oh, leave her alone because that is what she believes in? and its between she and God? I am confused.

It’s ashamed that someone can talk to a congregation like that. This guy needs some discipline or needs to be removed as a leader.
I am a praise and worship leader and no way I speak to the people like that. I invite and encourage the congregation to sing along with me even though many of the people in the churches today does not open their mouths to sing neither do they praise or pray. This is from the northern to the southern states. People tends to be spectators rather then worshippers. I see it in many churches, but that’s no way to speak to the people.
You just mention your schooling so much more. It’s hard to watch lately
