It's refreshing to see someone not afraid to show their beliefs.. especially when it's in Hollywood.
Wahlberg doesn't make his belief a thing that prevents him, it's a thing he does and if others don't care, good for them. Just how it should be, you shouldn't focus on others bad opinions on you.
Well, those are some really weird beliefs. If he thinks those movies won't be approved by his religion, why make them? Oh, well, maybe because he likes making them, and because they bring him money and fame. I don't mean to sound judgemental, I like Michael Wahlberg as an actor, but he contradicts himself a lot in this interview and that makes his religious beliefs seem fake or just twisted a lot to suit what he loves doing.
The anecdote is good, but I don't care about his beliefs. The less preachy celebrities are, the better.

It's refreshing to see the humbled man Mark has become. We all change as we get older, he changed for the better!
It's so weird to hear someone talk about prayer and God on a talk show. Everyone in Hollywood seems either very atheistic or just causal believers. Though I'm not catholic, it's kind of refreshing to hear someone not afraid to be up front about their religion and be proud.

I'm quite certain that people being proud about their religion is not a rarity. I'm Hollywood, yes, simply because it's a talkshow where they want to entertain people with cool stories, not with their religious views. I would say most hollywood actors are believers in god. They just don't spout religion all day because no one really likes that.

Amen to sharing faith in God with others, but Catholism aint it. Catholic is not Christian. I praise God that I came to a knowledge of that truth...so I pray we do our research, reads the scriptures and realizes that we are not supposed to be praying to mary the mother of God (shes dead) or any of these other dead people that the catholic church idolizes. We are also not supposed to bow to staues, or do many of the thing the Pope and catholicism promotes. Its idolotry. We are supposed to keep the 7th day (SATURDAY) holy as the 4th commandment says, and the Sabbath is Friday sundown to Saturday. The catholic church promtes the opposite of what God said, and we must ask ourselves WHY.
