    Thank you for the recommendation of using a spatula as well as the dripping effect because I didn’t know you can use it that way.

    Does this have a strong smell? I'm thinking of using silicone because it's odorless, but this is cheaper so I am looking into it. I also wonder if this is harder to work with.
    I also saw your comment about 'Sculpt gel'. Is that something different? Thanks.

    • @SchminkenGrime
      @SchminkenGrime  5 лет назад

      3d gel does not realy have a smell to it. But that is not for all gelatin products!
      I love sculpt gel because it is a silicon. Once it sets it will stay where you put it and it does not react to temperatur or moistus. And that had no smell as well.

      @@SchminkenGrime Thanks for explaining. I emailed Titanic FX about their gelatin cubes and they told me it didn't have much of a smell compared to other brands so I decided to try that first (was able to get a good deal on Amazon).
      So Sculpt Gel is basically the same thing as 3rd Degree Silicone, but a different brand? Silicone sounds like liquid latex (which I tried), but easier to work with and no odor (albeit more expensive).

    Hi is it possible to "create" volume on arms like if I had more muscles ? Or do you recommend another product ?

    • @SchminkenGrime
      @SchminkenGrime  3 года назад

      I would not reccomend doing this with gelatin as it melts with temperature. You could try using silicone. That should work.

    can i use this with my skin tone (shown in prof pic) or will it be too light...cuz i cannot find a darker gel without it being the dark blood one

    • @SchminkenGrime
      @SchminkenGrime  5 лет назад +3

      If you would get the clear one you can color it to your own skin tone. Just mix a bit of eyeshadow poder or foundation powder in it.

  • @touchedbywoo6693

    So no skin adhesive is needed beneath or before applying the gel?

      Not at all! As long as you dont put it directly in the water and dont let it boil.

    Help! Mine won’t dry at all, I’ve tried everything and it’s still super sticky and wet to the touch.

    • @SchminkenGrime
      @SchminkenGrime  5 лет назад

      Did you heat it up to a bolling point? If it boils the texturen breaks and it wont dry anymore. Of it is just sticky put some powder over it. that will take the stickyness away. Hope this helps.

    • @EmilyTooke
      @EmilyTooke 5 лет назад

      SchminkenGrime I microwaved it for 10 seconds; and when I pour it into a bowl it eventually dries but won’t dry on my skin...I put powder over it and it’s still too wet to use. I even tried microwaving it for less time to see if that would work and it still didn’t ):

    • @SchminkenGrime

      As it is a gelatin you get most of it of just with your fingers. Any residu can be removed with water and soap. Easy to remove 😊
