- Four Levels of Protein Structure:
With the goal of understanding the function of a protein, learning about its structure is often productive. In spite of their great diversity, all proteins share three superimposed levels of structure, known as primary, secondary, and tertiary structure. A fourth level, quaternary structure, arises when a protein consists of two or more polypeptide chains.
The primary structure of a protein is its sequence of amino
acids. Most proteins have segments of their polypeptide chains repeatedly
coiled or folded in patterns that contribute to the protein’s overall shape. These coils and folds, collectively referred to as secondary structure, are the result of hydrogen bonds between the repeating constituents of the polypeptide backbone (not the amino acid side chains). One such secondary structure is the 𝛂𝛂 helix, The other main type of secondary structure is the 𝛃 pleated sheet.
tertiary structure is the overall shape of a
polypeptide resulting from interactions between the side chains (R groups) of the various amino acids.
Quaternary structure is the overall protein structure that results from the aggregation of these polypeptide subunits.
Many proteins are roughly spherical (globular proteins), while others are shaped like long fibers (fibrous proteins).

Tertiary kp three dimensional structure of protein bhi tho kehte h na sir?
What is Dangal formula for Esther's?

MCQ hai sir answer bta do plzzz
Ror
Sir....
Do amino acid Judd k water bnati hai to sirf water to body m khud se hi liberated hona chahiye na?mm
Bruh that's insignificant 1 mole of water = 18g = 6.022 X 10 (23) molecular of water. And that much bond required for just 18 g water and human body release much more water than this😌
Thans soooo much sir can I take tutation class will u teach
JAI SHREE RAM
Sir Create a lecture about environmental microbiology

Sir primary structure ki example insulin he to usne to sulphide bond bhi hota to hota he?
That's level of organization.
Primary me hm just ye dekhte he protein kis Amino acid se bne he
Bkki sb 3d molecule ke space me organization he
I,m watching your video from Italy. This Video covered my 69 salides within 10 min.Much appreciated ❤
Sir tertiary structure contain peptide bond or no
Peptide bond is present in all protein structure .
👌👌👌👌
