That is one of the few really useful things to use them for. I would never use it to scrape things off my cutting board, it is ridiculously small for that, there are much better tools than that!!!
I am a guitar player. I have absolutely used a bread tab as a pick. Just take some scissors and cut a corner into a rounded shape similar to the end of a guitar pick.

I think you need to start another channel “Story time with Pam” And find stories children’s/shirt chapter books you can read, not sure how that works with copyright New to your Chanel , but can’t stop listening-love your comforting voice!!!
I use them on my Crochet too. I write the hook size I am using and attach it to the project. You know we are always moving from one project to the next and when you go back, you don’t remember which size hook you were using.
When I taught school in a hot climate, students were ALWAYS in distress about their broken flip-flops. The bread tabs were truly a miracle cure for that. I'd cover the tab with a little patch of duct tape so they would not catch on the carpets. I also issued one to each student when the school first got Chromebooks. I printed a bunch of tiny labels that said "Chromebook Charger" and glued them on to the tabs. That way, the charger did not got lost among all of their families' electrical cables. Students were given a Sharpie on that day to initial the tabs in they had siblings who were also getting computers issued to them. If a student left their charger in my classroom, I could get it back to them using the initials as well.
A guy in New Zealand redesigned flip flops to have that shape on the bottom of the thong. He got a patent for it about a year or two ago, and they're just becoming available in the us. Expensive. They're called Golden and his channel is "how to Dad". I once had to fix a flip-flop for a student when we want to an archaeological site, and she wore them even though they were told to wear sturdy shoes. For the moment, all I had was a bobby pin until she could get to the euro store and buy another pair

Thanks Pam such great ideas. Here in Australia I collect and send my bread tags to a charity that also donates wheelchairs for children. I did think of another use for bread tags while watching you. Clip them on your coathangers when hanging tops or dresses with shoestring straps to stop them dropping off the hanger.👏♥️🇦🇺

There are actually great for getting around the trim on your stove or counters and the little dirt Calexico and just scrape it really easy along the edge and it’ll bring up and then you can just wipe it off

Ms Pam, I set down & finally made my decision to actually start my channel. I’ve been wanting to do it for more than 15 years now, but had my granddaughter to raise & she was my priority. Now she’s in college at 17 & due to graduate b early as she went in with 12 credits from skipping her Jr high school year & becoming a dual student her Sr year & part time college student. She was able to jot when to take any of the pre-requisites as she passed the tests for all of them & had gotten multiple classes under her belt & credits for them. She will have her AA degree in psychology by the end of next term & prior to turning 18 years old. With her transferring out to St George’s University on a full scholarship for her swim & joining a sorority, she isn’t going to need me around as much as she has & I can now have something for me. Thanks for all your inspiration & keeping me company all hours of the day & night while taking care of everyone, except myself.
I like the idea of writing on them & using to mark electrical cords. Especially behind the TV w/ PlayStation, stereo, VCR, ( yes I said VCR 😂) lava lamp, etc. I can’t tell you how many times have I pulled out the wrong cord… and someone else said to mark what crochet size hook was used on WIP. I have WIPs I put down and can’t remember what size hook I used. I have 1 glove that fits perfect and one that can fit a child - lol. And a slipper that I don’t want to make same mistake on. You always think you will remember but you don’t unless it’s from an actual pattern. She opened up my eyes to the many uses.Thank you lady!

I worked as a manager at a Merita Bread Thrift store for many years and I know the importance of saving bread tabs and even the twist ties. I've never heard of Danielle's organization, which is surprising since I'm in a wheelchair myself. But I'll definitely check her out, and send her all my extra tabs. I was using paper clips to hold tape ends. The bread tabs free up paper clips for holding papers!
