    For the sisters that ended the war. Gold and silver usually symbolize the sun and moon respectively. It makes sense why their powers were the ones that the reign of the lightless.

    Dope. Reminds me of the Souls lore videos with the way GGG has hidden a lot of environmental storytelling in items and other things.
    I wonder if the lightless are partly what caused the beast's corruption in the first place. Sin made it for a good reason, so I have to assume he didn't want it to ruin the world the way it did.

      Yeah! Vaatividya's videos were a big inspiration for me! My personal theory is that the true source of corruption is tied to the earth itself. There are many connections between them. The gems are mined from the mines in mount verusso. The lightless come from the depths of the underground. And is the perfect duality - extreme order tirany from the gods, high divinity, the sky, light, sun - corruption, the ultimate chaos, potential, darkness, underground.

    So there was a gem created before beast? A golem gem?

    • @The-Lore-Weaver
      @The-Lore-Weaver  Месяц назад

      The timeline highly suggests this, since the battle against the lightless took place before the creation of the Viridian Woods. Basically it should go like this: rise of the lightless -> end of the winter of the world by the hand of the three sisters ( gilded abyss scarab text ) which were godesses -> creation of the beast and slumber of the gods.
      the gem was given by the titans, so it had to be before the end of the winter of the world and the creation of the beast!
      I wouldn't say it is a golem gem, but they sure had a way to wield the power of corruption relatively safely
