1.40 - 1.50ish the kind of bass slap sound combos and the samba style from 1.10 I particularly liked. I bet you tried out the pans in the shop before buying them? I like playing frying pans too....

@@daveargall3454Haha surprisingly not! Evelyn grabbed every saucepan in her kitchen cupboard and managed to create some amazing sounds! :) -Georgina (PR)

This is excellent! This is science, this is art, this is game. This is everything! Stop finding excuses for imperfections and just play and have fun :) :)

Shared you with one of my special needs music classes this morning. One guy who plays drums with sticks tied to his feet really loved it and played along! You are an inspiration!

Love it! Glad Im not the only who taps and plays pretty much anything that makes a cool sound. Using water in percussion adds such an unpredictable sound its amazing.

I make great sounds by bashing the metal slide in the local park. Always been a bit mad!

@@AnjaHuebel1 yep I do the same thing since anything metal that resonates needs to be hit.

Brilliant. I am not a percussionist but I have hit various kitchen utensils too because they sound great! I especially liked the lid-on-the-water bass drum polyrhythm from 1:41 onwards.

I would say it's the talent and sensitivity in transforming any object into a musical instrument on which good music is made. Sound and fantasie.

If someone ever says a woman's place is in the kitchen, I'm sending them this video. It's brilliant. Loved the performance. I think I have some dishes to do.

  • @jenlfpotter3870

Me too. I'm always, grabbing a piece of cutlery or a wooden spoon or some other utensil in just about every kitchen I've set foot in and tapping mugs, glasses, bowls, pots, pans, I rub things like sieves and colanders with the makeshift cutlery and utensil mallets as well as fingernails or other parts of my hands. I've always done it, from a very young age where I was raiding the cupboards in my mum's kitchen or Grandparents kitchen to find different noise makers, even if I did start out with pan lids as singing bowls if and when they resonated and held just about any notes. You can also put different levels of water in mugs, glasses, bottles, glass or pyrex bowls, casserole dishes and make music with all of those. I I also do this under water in the kitchen sink if I can make enough sound with ′them without smashing them. I even hit the floor with anything which wasn't brakable, so obviously no glassware or anything there.

    She is deaf.
But deals with vibrations in air.
    She doesn't need ear drums.
    Her body is a transducer.
And she uses it to perfection.

Why, why would you do that? Why do people get away with so much psychotic stuff, just because it's art? I've always wondered that. I'm going to your gig in Novi Sad for tje drumming...please don't bring a fkn sink or some other avant fkn garde prop...I mean I fingerdrum all over my flat, my car, phone, yeah, sink too..I just don't share that with people. This literally made me sick...I gotta take a probiotic now from all that uwaioui uwaiouieeeeuing
