Okay, this isn't about Siegfried, but my god, for a year one, Georgios is soo tightly packed that for nearly seven years and counting, he didn't got ANY buff soo far. Or they have zero idea on what they could add on Georgios to make him better than he already is... Solid skillset, God-like Bond CE pretty much on par with Heracles. Our favorite photographer is truly a sight to behold.
There's nothing that they can add to him that wouldn't destroy his kit. The closest they could add is teamwide evade/invulnupon death, but that's covered by his bond CE. Any offensive buff is useless since he's more or less likely to die within 3 turns. Same with defensive buffs, since St. George is kind of a liability once his taunt is gone due to him gobbling most of the stars via his Rider wieght.
Maybe his guts? because almost every guts get upgraded, maybe they somehow will add star weight down to him just like Bartholomew skill? he's ridiculously solid for a 2 star
I mean, look at other busted units, Arash and Merlin... TBH Arash has completely useless second skill that doesn't REALLY do much, give maybe 1 or 2 stars, the only way I see he can be buffable without breaking the game even further is giving him extra heals, resists or crit damage/gather stuff, which won't affect his STELLA bomb gameplay but make him viable for... not dying. Merlin? No way they can buff him further... Georgios? Well, he at least won't be game-breaking with another simple upgrade. Maybe attack buff, which will go against his kit so won't change balance much except making him more viable as 2nd damage or soloist?
He is to become Death, destroyer of dragons. Next, I would like them to upgrade Disengage to Armor of Fafnir. Lore wise he should have that since the beginning.
For the thematic representation of how Armor works in the lore, it could give Invul (3 times, 3 turns) and a decent Def Up (20~30% / 25~35%, 3 turns) alongside the debuff clear and heal. This _could_ be a bit too much though.
siegfried is the type of servant that always spam his np everytime he can so the np battery is a pretty good update but, now they have to give sieg an update cuz he REALLY needs one something like NP dmg+ in his second skill or a regen can be ok.
3T Arts Buff upon firing his NP, just like Muramasa has Or make his Magecraft last for three turns and increase star absorb for his Arts Cards. Those are my ideas at least, should we get a third run of Inheritance of Glory because Sieg needs those coins like every other welfare

The moment his wife appeared she turned the game from fgo to Sgo called Siegfried grand order. While battery spam is extremely boring as adding it to many old units to help them "keep up" just makes the units they definitely won't give batteries to "fall behind" is crazy plain. But I think Siegfried is fine as it really gives him damage speed and you could go buster damage or np gain too.
I think on Siegfried and Altera it helps tremendously and fits since they are servants with simple game plans. But in Siegfried it gives him that extra Atk and charge to at least do better overall damage. I’m just happy to have an excuse to play my favorite sabers

Reminds me of the Vlad situation where galtea had everything not go her way and it took making kriemhild having a 50 charge to "keep up" in this day and age. I just don't like seeing battery spam for the most part as I doubt Arjuna alter and raikou will get 50 charge to overtake Morgan and her damage as fgo won't do it. That's the thing that is annoying about battery as it makes the buster units without them completely useless and other units boring being so simple. What should be done is how space Ishtar and musashi zerk are made for arts. Artoria and emiya for buster and okitan summer and ashiya and carren for quick where the kits are extremely unique rather than boring and one note to play.

After seeing Sieg with his power and Fran's, i think is very accurate to say Siegfried has low attack but a massive HP pool, at least canonically speaking.
Taking his cards' low hit counts into calculations, I think it's just fair. Although not my fave, he is definitely a cool character. I love using him sometimes when farming.

@@amari7782 Fafnir is quite high up there, the only dragons surpassing it are dragon gods (Yamato-no-Orochi, Vritra, Typhon, etc.) and the oldest dragonkind such as Albion. He outranks Tarasque, which is a child of Leviathan.
Really happy my boy Siegfried got such a great buff. I was surprised there was no demerit though, was expecting it to require stars/eat stars/decrease health/etc. And as another commenter pointed out, Siegfried does spam his NP a lot so a battery makes sense. Apparently German equivalent to Artoria and a servant so strong they had to come up with plot reasons to limit his presence on the protag team. Would completely decimate Mordred if she fought his servant version rather than Sieg's shapeshift. Yet Mordred, who is just a largely inferior Artoria still sits at that 5 star rating.

Maybe he needs a more differentiated ability, something like gaining stars using buster cards and increasing atk using quick cards (similar to Dioscuri's effect switch). Or apply a Buster debuff to the enemy, something less common.

Attack buffs and a unique modifier basically regular attack up, buster up, special damage get multiplied by each other instead of added. Tl;dr: varied buffs=more damage
Going off the above comment here are Siegfried's buffs vs dragons 30% Atk up 80% Anti Dragon 50% Buster Up NP Mod increase 150% (400% is NP1 600% is NP5)
All those years. We waited, and we got it (not really yet, thou). It's insane how he went from the wrost sr saber to good in general, but an absolute destroyer when fighting dragons. Too bad we have to wait 2 years (lol, I may be dead until then, but I must see my lvl 90 max fou'ed sumanai get actually strong).
For me the worst SR Saber was D'eon, sorry. When I needed Taunter I simply used Mash, Georgius and Leonidas, recently even Gong. Sumanai at least killed Dragons efficiently and had a good NP gain.
It's like this buff was made for someone like me. And don't forget to unlock the starting charge append skill for the big man, give him any 50% starting charge CE and you'll fire Balmung on turn 1 without the help of any support
holy shit siegfried vs the world sequel now a servant that can reach ST damage at neutral despite being AoE and has battery & multiple NP gain buffs to facilitate using his NP frequently and can be extremely tanky due to his high health pool & chunky 5T cooldown heal (and meaty DEF up vs dragons) might seem good but consider this: disengage is vanilla. fucking mid 4* tbh barely usable lobos so fucking smart for triple buffing when you taunted Siegfried for NP gain.
Sieg was my first 4☆ that I ever got, of course excluding the starter servant. And oh boy was I disappointed in him back then. Almost no dmg and the only even viable place for him is against dragons? I quickly dumped him away. And now after a few years I have him np 3. This was one of those servants that I hated getting. But finally, finally I can feel that my sq was not wasted. Now I just need to wait for 2 years...
Same my starter servant was Stheno and my 1st 4* out of general pool was Siegfried hated how low his dmg was but the funny thing is that I kept using my Stheno for like half the story even though she wasn't better than him , I loved my girl Stheno and after I maxedy Siegfried and did his rankups and interludes I started using him again . This buff is really nice but he's close to reaching bond 10 so no farming with him isn't something I'd do with him nowadays

So I didn't really find almost any other servants useful that I had at the time. From the winter of 2019 when I started playing, I progressed through the story with only my Herc, Siegfried and some other free 1-3☆ servants, for 7 months. Until I heard that a really good servant was coming up, caster skadi. At the time I had almost no idea how anything still worked and I only knew that 3 buster chain go boom. So I used my sq and got skadi and saber lancelot, which would become a new cornerstone of my account. And to this day, he is the only good saber I have. 6 months after skadi, I got Parvati and Kama when I understood that I have no use for quick support if I have no good quick servants. Remainder of the year I spent my sq to get alter arjuna and merlin. Now I also have a buster setup. And then, I finally got my Herc bond 10. He had done his work and he finally got to rest and Arjuna would take on his legacy. Then, this april, I got my first ever Waver, thanks to the 5☆-ticket. Well, now I have only one hole to fill in my support collection, which is arts support caster. And the one I'm aiming for is caster Artoria. If you are aiming for her too, good luck. This became kinda long for some reason, but hopefully it proved somewhat fun to read. Also, I see that you are a fellow Re:Zero enjoyer as well. Hopefully we'll get some kind of an announcement for a new season this year, would be a blast after (maybe) succesfully getting Artoria.
How does this affect Siegfried's position on the 4-star tier list? Does this make him A+ now? I am now seriously considering whether to grail him to 90 and make him the main Single-target Saber for challenge quest.
Imo, he is doing pretty well now. His skills aren't bad now even outside of killing dragons. That 30% charge is especially nice. However, he's still got awful base attack and a lot of his power is locked behind killing dragons, which will require team and in battle set up to get going. Also, doesn't have a dodge for emergency situations. Overall, he's doing pretty good for himself and can be quite menacing when a photographer is with him.
He's completely serviceable if you're set on using him at lvl 80. Probably one of the top 4 star AOE sabers. Actually I'd argue since his skill numbers are actually quite amazing (to compensate for low attack), he really gains a lot from his stat increases in grailing. My Siegfried right now is sitting at 15k/20k HP (total) with a maxed out black grail and he's my main farmer and challenge quests saber in spite of having many 5 star alternatives. He's gotten me through all the content. He is also very compatible with double Koya and Oberon now, as both of the firepower skills he has are 3t and 5 cool down, which means you can double stack that shit. I'd say his synergy with that setup is better than most, which is a big deal for a team oriented game.
As someone pointed out in reddit with calcs Siegfried (max. ascension, max. reg. Fou, neutral att. & class) NP sits now at 24706. Second only to Saber Alter in the 4* rarity, just a nudge higher than Suzuka. If he drops that against Dragons though it reaches 66706, pretty much blowing every Saber out of the water except Musashi and Sigurd who are ST.
They did one dragon slayer good and the other dirty but the balance is the other is way hotter and is in an NP with his wife while the other fights her wife
He is, this guy deals more damage than any other AOE Sabers (even 5*) when facing dragons and only beaten by Musashi and sigurd (yep, he only loses to 2 ST cause he's AOE)

@@amari7782 cause like AOF is like the the biggest thing about siegfried, I would even dare say AOF is more of a big deal compared to Balmung. As its the very proof that a simple human overcame a dragon that could destroy a singularity on its own in 1 attack. So yeah, this people have a pretty good reason to be angry.

Everytime I see someone complaining about it their basically just complaining about him not getting a skill not really saying how this would help his gameplay.
Hell I’ve seen more people complain about this buff ( someone going far as to say that it destroyed his gameplay) partially because it’s not called rheingold.
From a gameplay perspective him getting that would just simply be a name change to disengage and doesn’t really fox the problems with his kit.
@@amari7782 first, destroy his gameplay? he got a solid buff of battery and a atk up, that just makes his gameplay more effective and as a bonus, more lore accurate, this dude clashed with giants when he still just a human and when he was alive, he canonically spam balmung faster than sieg.

I even had someone try to say that armor of fafnir would make him a good hypothetical anchor servant but then they turn around and say he’s a bad buster farmer even with his current buff because his atk stat is bad.
But they wanted to say AoF would make him a good anchor even tho his atk would still be ass.
Like these people would rather take a “lore accurate” buff that continues to make him unusable vs a buff that’s also technically lore accurate and actually makes him useful.

I was always baffled by Siegfried being 4 star. Apparently German equivalent to Artoria and a servant so strong they had to come up with plot reasons to limit his presence on the protag team.
Would completely decimate Mordred if she fought his servant version rather than Sieg's shapeshift.
Yet Mordred, who is just a largely inferior Artoria still sits at that 5 star rating.
@@Fenghuang0th nah, kriemhild good gurl besides she's canonically a real princess and unlike siegfried doesn't have much battle experience and only in the 20 years of her plot of vengeance did she see actual combat. So I think 4 star is narrowly fair.

Time to give Gilgamesh a crit buff on his second skill. Does he absolutely need it? No. Would it be nice to have? Hell yes.
Maybe he needs a more differentiated ability, something like gaining stars using buster cards and increasing atk using quick cards (similar to Dioscuri's effect switch). Or apply a Buster debuff to the enemy, something less common.

Putting that aside, how does he do that much damage against a single target dragon!?
Attack buffs and a unique modifier basically regular attack up, buster up, special damage get multiplied by each other instead of added.
Tl;dr: varied buffs=more damage

All those years. We waited, and we got it (not really yet, thou). It's insane how he went from the wrost sr saber to good in general, but an absolute destroyer when fighting dragons. Too bad we have to wait 2 years (lol, I may be dead until then, but I must see my lvl 90 max fou'ed sumanai get actually strong).
For me the worst SR Saber was D'eon, sorry. When I needed Taunter I simply used Mash, Georgius and Leonidas, recently even Gong. Sumanai at least killed Dragons efficiently and had a good NP gain.
20% charge is good, but 30% is godly buff
It's like this buff was made for someone like me.
And don't forget to unlock the starting charge append skill for the big man, give him any 50% starting charge CE and you'll fire Balmung on turn 1 without the help of any support

now a servant that can reach ST damage at neutral despite being AoE and has battery & multiple NP gain buffs to facilitate using his NP frequently and can be extremely tanky due to his high health pool & chunky 5T cooldown heal (and meaty DEF up vs dragons) might seem good but consider this: disengage is vanilla. fucking mid 4* tbh barely usable
lobos so fucking smart for triple buffing when you taunted Siegfried for NP gain.
Now I'm not so mad at the np6 one I got trying for Merlin for 2 years.
Now I'm glad I got spooked with NP5 Siegfried.
I made some calcs and he now hits Dragons by 66k.
Sigurd hits them by 83k, but he only hits 1 and has no battery.
And Siegfried's damage is affected by Overcharge, so he should slightly outdamage him at OC 500%.
If I can't make him useful now, so no one can
lord have mercy they gave him a battery.
Imagine if he could also generate more than like 2 stars per turn while still having all this stuff he already has

I actually got him when I tried to get Merlin. I had the plans to keep him, since I like him (also them pecs) and it seem it was a REALLY good choice
He still doesn't have anything defensively relevant but godspeed in terms of pure damage and anti-dragon defense
He does have massive defense up against dragons

Sieg was my first 4☆ that I ever got, of course excluding the starter servant. And oh boy was I disappointed in him back then. Almost no dmg and the only even viable place for him is against dragons? I quickly dumped him away. And now after a few years I have him np 3. This was one of those servants that I hated getting.
But finally, finally I can feel that my sq was not wasted. Now I just need to wait for 2 years...
Same my starter servant was Stheno and my 1st 4* out of general pool was Siegfried hated how low his dmg was but the funny thing is that I kept using my Stheno for like half the story even though she wasn't better than him , I loved my girl Stheno and after I maxedy Siegfried and did his rankups and interludes I started using him again . This buff is really nice but he's close to reaching bond 10 so no farming with him isn't something I'd do with him nowadays
@@thereseavanastrea4662 I myself specifically made new accounts until I got Hercules for my starter so I could dominate as much of the early game as I could. So I didn't really find almost any other servants useful that I had at the time. From the winter of 2019 when I started playing, I progressed through the story with only my Herc, Siegfried and some other free 1-3☆ servants, for 7 months.
Until I heard that a really good servant was coming up, caster skadi. At the time I had almost no idea how anything still worked and I only knew that 3 buster chain go boom. So I used my sq and got skadi and saber lancelot, which would become a new cornerstone of my account. And to this day, he is the only good saber I have.
6 months after skadi, I got Parvati and Kama when I understood that I have no use for quick support if I have no good quick servants.
Remainder of the year I spent my sq to get alter arjuna and merlin. Now I also have a buster setup. And then, I finally got my Herc bond 10. He had done his work and he finally got to rest and Arjuna would take on his legacy.
Then, this april, I got my first ever Waver, thanks to the 5☆-ticket.
Well, now I have only one hole to fill in my support collection, which is arts support caster. And the one I'm aiming for is caster Artoria. If you are aiming for her too, good luck.
This became kinda long for some reason, but hopefully it proved somewhat fun to read.
Also, I see that you are a fellow Re:Zero enjoyer as well. Hopefully we'll get some kind of an announcement for a new season this year, would be a blast after (maybe) succesfully getting Artoria.

Imo, he is doing pretty well now. His skills aren't bad now even outside of killing dragons. That 30% charge is especially nice.
However, he's still got awful base attack and a lot of his power is locked behind killing dragons, which will require team and in battle set up to get going. Also, doesn't have a dodge for emergency situations. Overall, he's doing pretty good for himself and can be quite menacing when a photographer is with him.
He's completely serviceable if you're set on using him at lvl 80. Probably one of the top 4 star AOE sabers.
Actually I'd argue since his skill numbers are actually quite amazing (to compensate for low attack), he really gains a lot from his stat increases in grailing. My Siegfried right now is sitting at 15k/20k HP (total) with a maxed out black grail and he's my main farmer and challenge quests saber in spite of having many 5 star alternatives. He's gotten me through all the content.
He is also very compatible with double Koya and Oberon now, as both of the firepower skills he has are 3t and 5 cool down, which means you can double stack that shit. I'd say his synergy with that setup is better than most, which is a big deal for a team oriented game.
As someone pointed out in reddit with calcs Siegfried (max. ascension, max. reg. Fou, neutral att. & class) NP sits now at 24706. Second only to Saber Alter in the 4* rarity, just a nudge higher than Suzuka. If he drops that against Dragons though it reaches 66706, pretty much blowing every Saber out of the water except Musashi and Sigurd who are ST.

He is, this guy deals more damage than any other AOE Sabers (even 5*) when facing dragons and only beaten by Musashi and sigurd (yep, he only loses to 2 ST cause he's AOE)
