Again and again, I find your tutorials the best for beginners like me in Illustrator. Perfect pace, to the point, so now I have to follow you :=) Thanks a lot
It was very useful. Thank you! .... Is it possible to determine the number of points? For example, I want to have 101 points equal distance from each other. How can I do that?
I would probably use the "Radial Repeat" or "Rotate Tool" for this. I covered this already in my previous tutorials. Rotate Tool: ruclips.net/video/uoZ5SXBqabY/видео.html Radial Repeat: ruclips.net/video/ydViiyiFTvg/видео.html I hope this will help. Thank you for watching!
When I select dashed line the gap field is blank and although I can change it , once I deselect it the value disappears and field goes blank again any idea why this is happening ?
You could do this manually. 1. Create a dotted line 2. Select the line and then go to "Object" > "Expand" (this will create a "Compound Path" group) 3. Go to "Object" > "Compound Path" and choose "Release" 4. Go to "Object" one more time and choose "Ungroup" 5. Now select a desired dot and change its fill _I hope this will help. Thank you for watching!_
+Evan Wright Yes you can. After you draw your desire shape use the selection tool to select it. Then go to object and select "expand appearance". Go to object again and select "expand". The expand dialog box will open. Make sure the fill and stroke are selected and click OK. Now swap the fill and the stroke (Shift+X) and adjust the stroke weight to whatever you like.
This is one of the best tutorials I've ever seen. Great pace, everything is easy to see and understand. Thank you!
