Tokinada is lowkey my favourite villain. Bro is evil for fun, has a spiritual pressure that was said to feel terrifying to be in and has a top 3 or 5 strongest zanpakuto. His design is also goated.
Wabiske + Senbosakura is a combo I thought of since it can copy multiple at the same time. That could be its weak and strong side. Or Konjiki Ashisogi Jizo since it can paralyze. I think in the right hands, and he’s pretty slimy, I think he could do a good job with Hyorinmaru as a stronger Zanpakto. It just has so many abilities.
It is very fitting that Tokinada is using Enrakyoten in the story, because it reflects who he is so well. All of his power comes from his bloodline and his family has reached their status by abusing the system they created. Yet it is this very status of power and mindset that kills Tokinada and destroys his whole clan in the end. Enrakyoten is the embodiment of the Tsunayashiro clans sins catching up with them and that they were always parasites leeching of the powers of those truly worthy of them.
Truth. Overall it also generally reflects the highly destructive toxicity of the nobility. With them always being at each other's throats while having overtrained assassins and bodyguards at their call it's a miracle it all hasn't imploded with one well placed murder or wipe out. No wonder Yoruichi absolutely did not want to return to that world.
Aren't the other ancestors and Ichibei just as despicable? I mean at the end of CFYOW Yoruichi actually considered to erase Hisagi's memories. Why, to cover up dirt? The Kuchikis are so hell bent on maintaining a order in soul society. Byakuya admitted that he let himself get deceived due to two promises he had better not made. All Hisagi wanted was to help and this is how they are going to repay him?
@@Grayson-Winchester Yup. Tokinada bragged about this to Yoruichi and Soifon. Soifon herself was confused by what he was talking about, her lifelong training and indoctrination undoubtedly playing a part of that. Unfortunately that's what happens to those who find out the truth, ironically Tokinada's death was part of that cover up. Yoruichi made that clear while Kisuke was more subdued and reflective about it all. Kisuke did object to Yoruichi's suggestion to memory wipe Hisagi thus showing that they have some different views on this issue.
@@manuelacosta9463 I never expected something like that from Yoruichi since she always took good care of Ichigo, Orihime, etc. Kyoraku clearly had a hunch that Ichibei was planning to forcefully turn Ichigo into the new linchpin but what could he have done about? Ichibei is a higher authority and more powerful than him. He clearly was worried about Ichigo. Can Urahara, Kyoraku and Yoruichi really just stand their and let this happen to Ichigo? Is something I've been asking myself. It makes sense why Urahara and Kyoraku warned Hisagi. If you pry too deep into Soul Society history, you will find things you don't like.
I love Tokinada as a villain so god damn much. The fact that he doesn't really have an emotional crux to himself, he isn't like Aizen or Yhwach, they do have a nobility to their cause, even if twisted. Tokinada just wants everyone to realize how messed up the world is and everyone should become messed up with it.
Honestly, you should talk about CFYOW more often. I love Tokinada and the novels as a whole. He is the main reason why I want movies made out of CFYOW or at least a OVA.
i agree. i dont know much about it since i havent read it, but thr most likely thing to come after the Blood War arc is not the hell arc manga, its most likely the novels animated
CFYOW is such a great additional piece to Bleach. It’s amazing Ryogo Narita wrote such a unique and deliciously evil character from just a single mention in the manga. The man deserves some more recognition.
Narita is an extremely capable writer with his works outside of Bleach: Baccano, Durarara, Fate/strange Fake, Dead Mount Death Play, etc. Not only are these novels/manga pretty successful (and some are in a shared "Naritaverse") but they also received anime adaptations. How many writers get to have multiple successful works that are also made into anime? He definitely deserves more recognition.
Would he remake the original Bankai (whether that's what we saw or some even earlier version), or the current version? Could he learn different versions?
Just imagine what Aizen could achieve with Enrakyōten. Being one of the few individuals with godlike reiatsu, not to mention immortal, he literally is the perfect person to wield Enrakyōten and use it to its fullest. That would be the most broken thing in Bleach. PERIOD.
True his whole immortality thing is he only counter to the cure of that zanpaktou.... making him and any other immortal being the best suited, assuming it can work for people outside the clan which I doubt.
I actually really like Tokinada as he's just evil for the sake of being evil. He just likes it and no other reason. Not all villains needs to be relatable or have a reason for their behaviour. Sometimes, being evil just for the enjoyment of it, is enough. We need more villains like that.
One of the best things about tokinada is his VA, fitting in dialogue, laugh and tonality or the grunts he makes, at least in Bleach Brave Souls, he's been my fav character for a long time after Aizen and Ulquiorra.
I learned a couple things from this vide. So thanks! 1) the activation condition requires the possessor to sustain injury and 2) Muramasa is the family zanpakuto of the Kuchiki family...which makes the Zanpakuto Rebellion arc even more meaningful to me and further deepens Byakuya's duty in that arc
Where are you all getting Muramasa being the ancestral blade of the Kuchiki clan? That is koga's zanpaktou forged from his spirit who isn't even a blood kuchiki clan member. The whole filler was literally Murumasa wanting to rejoin with his master. He also died at the end along with his master. So those fillers do not have any sort of ties to that novel, and was completely settled regardless.

Fun fact Muramasa is the same as Enrakyoten and it belongs to the kuchiki family. Imagine Byakuya deciding to break the law and uses it against everyone 😳
Actually Muramasa is not an ancestral blade, it is Koga's manifested zanpaktou. Also, its powers are different. It cannot mimic powers, but it can free zanpaktou spirits and control them to an extent. Still, it is an incredibly powerful zanpaktou as it also has illusion based abilities. I can only imagine the bankai form.

Enrakyoten, like all good copycat powers, always comes with the caveat that it is dependent on the wielder's own level of power. It does remind me of the Zanpakutō that was used in the Filler Anime Only Reigai Arc where it manipulated the Dangai Precipice World in order to manipulate Space/Time to copy all Shinigami powers not effected by Hollow reiatsu.
Similar but still different. That filler zanpaktou could only copy direct attacks used against it. I am almost positive too it cannot copy illusions as it has to create a portal to mimic the attack...illusions just affect the opponent's mind. What was cool is that it can mimic a person unleashing a physical attack, like how it did with creating a false kenpachi to slash an opponent. Then it had a separate power when whole to absorb reishi and energy attacks like Ukitake's zanpaktou... it definitely was super powerful along with Muramasa from the other filler.
Tokinada’s zanpakuto can copy other zanpakuto, but it’s still limited by his own power level. I remember Shunsui mentioning that Tokinada’s flames weren’t as hot as Yama’s when he copied that zanpakuto. Plus, he doesn’t have the owner’s understanding of the powers he mimics, which is also a weakness. He can copy powers, but can’t use them to the same extent as the actual owner.
Tokinada is well aware that his level of reiatsu is a far cry from Aizen. He could have tried to use some formidable Kido spells but maybe isn't as skilled.
The most interesting thing to me about Tokinada’s Zanpakuto is that it can only copy other abilities to the extent of Tokinada’s own reiatsu. If he copies someone whose power is way above his weight class, like Aizen’s Complete Hypnosis, his capabilities pale in comparison with the original. It’s not really the ability that’s strong, it’s the original user that makes it strong. So you might not be able to get around Aizen’s Kyoka Suigetsu, but you can certainly get around Tokinada’s
Tokinada with Wabisuke would be a total menace. Theres only two ways reiatsu levels could affect that power, and both are horrifying. First, it could increase the range, probably along contact of whatever is hit, like clothing, the opponent's body. Thats the less scary option, but also the least likely. The most likely, and scariest? The amount weight is increased by. If a mid-level Lieutenant doubles weight, what would a mid-level Captain do? Quadruple it? Dectuple?
Nice reference to Kōga Kuchiki and Muramasa... Kōga Kuchiki was hated because of his potential. Next battle analysis: Byakuya Kuchiki vs Kōga Kuchiki! Great fight!
Tokinada reminded me of one of my all time favorite villains: Nimura Furuta - both wanted to cause as much chaos as possible although they were living like royalty - both found out that the society they live in is hypocritical - both have deranged smiles - both died grotesque and laughing
There's one difference between them though. Tokinada is completely nihilistic and dies laughing and mocking those who aren't able to kill him in the end. Furuta, on the other hand, is nihilistic but secretly wants to live a normal life and doesn't taunt anyone while dying.

When he was dying, he wasn’t taunting anyone and even confessed to the person who defeated him that he wanted to live a normal life, to which Kaneki actually acknowledged. Tokinada died while mocking everyone. So while both are very similar, their last moments reveal who they really are.
@@LightKeyDarkBlade another similarity they have. Furuta's kind doesn't get to live long Tokinada shortened his lifespan due to the usage of Enrakyoten. They have bitten the dust beforehand though
I really liked the power! The big final clash against Tokinada was fuun and the realisation that he had Kyoka Suigetsu was great. I'd be curious about how Enrakyoten would work with Sakanade, assuming Tokinada has higher reiatsu, would he be able to immediately manipulate things like heat that Shinji was trying for? Or is that something that he would have to train to achieve as well?
I mean, that's kinda a big assumption to make in the first place, and only the swords of *extremely* weak Shinigami ever showed improvement in his hands.
And still it's even stronger than that as it's not just Zanpakuto that it can copy, but most other spirit weapons too. It's not a blade in the traditional sense that it copies but the term "blade" in anything called or considered a weapon in general. It's just that you also need to have the ability to wield those powers too. Meaning that a Visored should not only be able to mimic a Soul Reaper's Zanpakuto but also an Arrancar's. Tousen should be the best of them as he not only had a Bankai but a Resurreccion and is more able to use powers from his Hollow side. Hollows should be able to mimic other Hollow powers. It's possible that an Arrancar can mimic Soul Reaper powers too. It's just that they don't go through the same kind of transformation that Visoreds do to gain the opposite powers. It's a natural process of Hollows that can be done at any stage of Menos. They don't seem to gain a Zanpakuto spirit within them at any point though. With Visoreds, it's unnatural and violent and creates a second/third being inside of you. However, it's unclear if that was only with Ichigo since he had White inside of him before he went through the process. Quincies should be able to mimic other Quincies powers. Is it just their "bows" or their Vollstandig or their Schrifts is something we'll probably never know though. Fullbringers should be able to mimic other Fullbring abilities. Ginjo being the best of them as he's also a Soul Reaper and has Hollow powers other than his Fullbring powers. Then there's Ichigo, Hikone and Kazui. They should all be able to mimic any ability they want. Ichigo was born with all the other races abilities, Hikone was created with them and presumably Kazui was also born with all of them. At the very least he has Quincy, Soul Reaper and Fullbring powers. With Hikone depowered now and Kazui being a child with undefined powers so far, that leaves Ichigo as the one being that could use Enrakyoten to its fullest ability. We only "see" it copy Shikai though. It's unclear exactly how it translates that to the abilities of other races. It is however stated to be able to copy them in some form. Maybe it's only during the Bankai state of Enrakyoten that it can copy a Vollstandig or Resurreccion. Maybe not. Does it even have a Bankai state? Can it copy Bankai as its Bankai? Who knows? Regardless, it's powerful. Even if just copying Shikai.
Tokinada was a nice villain but I prefer Hikone 100 times! If they ever animate Hikone vs Kenpachi it’s going to be one of the craziest battles in Bleach.
Damn. Talk about wild. Years and years ago in my youth I was on a RP Forum for Bleach, and I made an arrancar who as a child was killed in Nagasaki by the bomb and his shadow was burned onto a mirror. When he became a hollow, he had a mirror inside of his mouth that would reflect attacks back, and then his Resurrection was to create a giant mirror that would then let him copy the powers of anyone he faced. The difference was he could use their Shikai and Bankai, even if they themselves couldn't, but only for a limited time. People complained that it was too strong because he could use shinigami powers. Glad to know that some 10 years later, Can't Fear Your Own World decided "hey you know what would be interesting..."
Would love to hanatoro zanpakuto full potential, it may make you invincible granting invincibilty or immortality contantly healing and revitalizing your soul. It may be the single strongest defensive zanpakuto
One wonders for all those watching this what their Zanpakuto would be and what release would you choose. Example - For me I would like my Zanpakuto to be called Titania Of Avalon and the release would be "Dream Titania Of Avalon" with my Bankai being " Bankai - Black Waltz Within The Blue Dark - Titania Of Avalon". I do not know Japanese but google tells me it is "Avu~aron no yume no titānia" and the Bankai would being "Bankai - Avu~aron no aoki yaminonakade no kuroi warutsu taitānia" So that is the best I can come up with.
I'm a fan of copycat/stealing abilities in any anime, but only if the power can be used following rules/limitations. An example I'd give is chrollo from Hunter x Hunter.
I think that enra kyoten can mimic to a degree, but as you mentioned is probably limited to the wielders rejatsu and soul; in that sense, being a soul reaper, he can't mimic hollow or quincy rejatsu. He can't mimic zangetsu, due to the foreign nature of the very blade
Interesting idea for ur next video maybe rank the illusion type zanpakto from strongest to weakest like sakanade, kyoka suigetsu, Enra kyoten and maybe even muramasa, shinken hakkyoken and whatever else there is since it was mentioned here!

Would love for u to make a video about the family zanpakuto considering they hold alot of the core family beliefs and possible what they was going threw at the time of there origin both muramasa and tokinadas zanpakuto have a very depressing and liberating mind set like the mind, the body, the soul and the spirit thats what each zanpakuto could represent fighting together could perhaps be the ultimate if not the strongers team of there age given the right users
Is it possible the Ancestral Zanpakuto are the weapons used to defeat and tear apart the Soul King? I'd imagine the Ise Clan and their Shinken Hakkyoken were among the original 5, considering it was the first weapon known as an Ancestral Zanpakuto and its powers seem like something you'd need to kill/dismember the god of the world. They could exist outside that power structure instead, but I'd be surprised if they weren't involved at all
I wonder if that blade could be used to merge abilites as one attack.... Like making Senbonsakura and Gagaku Kairō attack as one, so you get all those tiny unpredictable blades going around while consuming everything they encounter as well... Like a billion tiny, razor sharp pac-mans...

If Tsunayashiro Clan is responsible for surveillance, then they should be in-charge of the Patrol Corps/Expidition Unit in the Onmitsukido whose function is to gather intel within Seireitei?
I love Tokinada as my favorite villain. He represents many real life elite, ranging from the wealthy to celebrities to royalty to politicians. Enrakyoten can be seen as a representation of things many wealthy and powerful families have: things they did little to nothing to earn (like he didn't work hard to unlock or earn those powers; he copied and stole them, similar to how many wealthy and rich didn't earn out work hard for the money and power they got).
Would you ever do a video on what will become of people like Chad and Orihime who have special powers as humans but then die and become shinigami?? Like would their powers translate to zanpakuto or stay in their original form??
It depends on how mimic powers are used. Like Royd had an arguably weaker version of his brother's schrift but he destroyed Zaraki because unlike his brother he copied Yhwach instead of Zaraki. So if Loyd copied Yhwach he would have definitely beaten Zaraki or any other captain asside from Yama.
@@huntertezz - I believe the databooks revealed that the Real Yhwach was the one who defeated Zaraki. Yhwach defeated Zaraki without mercy, swapped places with the Mimic Quincy, and then Lloyd pretended he beat Zaraki when Yama arrived.
@@TheBigExclusive No I don't think that was ever mentioned in the databooks. The only new info we have of the twins through Kubo's questions was that Royd can copy 70% of someone's power and Loyd 70% of memories.
@@huntertezz - Kubo said on his exclusive Klub Outside website that both Twins can copy memories AND powers, but that it was 80% max for Royd. Loyd can do 100%. Kenpachi crushed his Loyd mimic easily.
@@TheBigExclusive Oh yeah its 80, I got the number wrong. Either way my point still stands. It depends on how they use their mimic ability. If Loyd copied Yhwach he would have destroyed Zaraki like his brother did with 80% of Yhwach's power.
7:10 I'm currently wondering if he has to see the ability(s) or just the Zanpaktou? For example, we saw Head Captain Yamamoto use his shikai a lot more than his bankai (and that bankai itself has 4 abilities)... So, would the copied Zanpaktou only "know" the shikai and/or *some* of the bankai's 4 abilities?
The funny thing is when I first thought up what my own zanpakuto would be, I thought up of a zanpakuto like Enrakyōten but instead of full on copying it only mimicked since when I was younger, like 10 to 17, I was fairly skilled at mimicry. Its shikai only mimic other shikais while its bankai could only mimic other bankai. Its mimicry did allow me to mimic Hollow techniques/powers and even Quincy techniques/powers. It’s one draw back is that it could only mimic one thing at a time and it only mimics, so it’s not a true form of the powers or techniques. It can alter what it’s mimicking to a degree. I think I thought it up from the Justice League/Justice League Unlimited Animated Series’s Amazo Android. Now in seeing what zanpakuto going beyond 100%, I would what to see Hozukimaru. Curious if there would be any noticeable change, especially in bankai as it takes time for it to charge up.
I dont have read the light novel but want to ask if tokinada was able to use kyouka suigetsu like aizen did becouse I dont think his ability have much to to about his reatsu
Sounds like Enrakyoten from the Bleach CFYOW light novels which is able to copy any abilities seen by its user, in this case, it's Tokinada (the main villain of CFYOW). The sword is passed down thru generations of the Tsunayashiro clan which is one of the 5 Great Nobel Clans in Bleach. However, the extent of that copied power depends on how powerful the user is. So he was able to copy Yamamoto's shikai, but it was far weaker than the real thing, same thing with Aizen's Kyoka Suigetsu, because he himself isn't on par with either of them when it comes to sheer reiatsu. The zanpakuto also kills its user slowly by using it.
Particularly dangerous things to copy? Anything that extends Reiatsu or grants immortality. Ruijin Jakka ot any other absorber. Hanatarous sword and it's healing. Maybe Unohanas or Kisukes Bankai. Any from Squad 0. Actually that guy is a awesome excuse to see Bankais of dead characters/characters that don't use Bankai. Way up would be Komamurus immortal/undead bankai. I doubt this guy would have the time limit from ripping out his heart. So he might be a "can only be sealed" kind of enemy. But it might not be copyable.
This kinda points at a problem I have with Bleach as a whole. There’s so much history and lore that gets mentioned in anime/manga but never gets fully fleshed out. TYBW anime is starting to fill these holes but it’s still not a lot. Things like Hell, noble houses, the early world, pre soul soul society. I hope the Hell Arc continues and we learn more but that’s still not confirmed. We’re told always told about noble families and how powerful they are in Bleach but never shown this in the mainline series. I really hope the upcoming parts of TYBW anime give us more history of the bleach world

Aizen + Enrakyōten is the most cracked combo
Just imagine what Aizen could achieve with Enrakyōten. Being one of the few individuals with godlike reiatsu, not to mention immortal, he literally is the perfect person to wield Enrakyōten and use it to its fullest. That would be the most broken thing in Bleach. PERIOD.
True his whole immortality thing is he only counter to the cure of that zanpaktou.... making him and any other immortal being the best suited, assuming it can work for people outside the clan which I doubt.

I actually really like Tokinada as he's just evil for the sake of being evil. He just likes it and no other reason. Not all villains needs to be relatable or have a reason for their behaviour. Sometimes, being evil just for the enjoyment of it, is enough. We need more villains like that.
One of the best things about tokinada is his VA, fitting in dialogue, laugh and tonality or the grunts he makes, at least in Bleach Brave Souls, he's been my fav character for a long time after Aizen and Ulquiorra.
I learned a couple things from this vide. So thanks! 1) the activation condition requires the possessor to sustain injury and 2) Muramasa is the family zanpakuto of the Kuchiki family...which makes the Zanpakuto Rebellion arc even more meaningful to me and further deepens Byakuya's duty in that arc
Where are you all getting Muramasa being the ancestral blade of the Kuchiki clan? That is koga's zanpaktou forged from his spirit who isn't even a blood kuchiki clan member. The whole filler was literally Murumasa wanting to rejoin with his master. He also died at the end along with his master. So those fillers do not have any sort of ties to that novel, and was completely settled regardless.

Fun fact Muramasa is the same as Enrakyoten and it belongs to the kuchiki family. Imagine Byakuya deciding to break the law and uses it against everyone 😳

Actually Muramasa is not an ancestral blade, it is Koga's manifested zanpaktou. Also, its powers are different. It cannot mimic powers, but it can free zanpaktou spirits and control them to an extent. Still, it is an incredibly powerful zanpaktou as it also has illusion based abilities. I can only imagine the bankai form.

Enrakyoten, like all good copycat powers, always comes with the caveat that it is dependent on the wielder's own level of power. It does remind me of the Zanpakutō that was used in the Filler Anime Only Reigai Arc where it manipulated the Dangai Precipice World in order to manipulate Space/Time to copy all Shinigami powers not effected by Hollow reiatsu.
Similar but still different. That filler zanpaktou could only copy direct attacks used against it. I am almost positive too it cannot copy illusions as it has to create a portal to mimic the attack...illusions just affect the opponent's mind. What was cool is that it can mimic a person unleashing a physical attack, like how it did with creating a false kenpachi to slash an opponent. Then it had a separate power when whole to absorb reishi and energy attacks like Ukitake's zanpaktou... it definitely was super powerful along with Muramasa from the other filler.
Urahara just hits him with a memory erasing drug, and this guy becomes useless. Lmao.

Tokinada’s zanpakuto can copy other zanpakuto, but it’s still limited by his own power level.
I remember Shunsui mentioning that Tokinada’s flames weren’t as hot as Yama’s when he copied that zanpakuto. Plus, he doesn’t have the owner’s understanding of the powers he mimics, which is also a weakness. He can copy powers, but can’t use them to the same extent as the actual owner.
Tokinada is well aware that his level of reiatsu is a far cry from Aizen.
He could have tried to use some formidable Kido spells but maybe isn't as skilled.

The most interesting thing to me about Tokinada’s Zanpakuto is that it can only copy other abilities to the extent of Tokinada’s own reiatsu. If he copies someone whose power is way above his weight class, like Aizen’s Complete Hypnosis, his capabilities pale in comparison with the original. It’s not really the ability that’s strong, it’s the original user that makes it strong. So you might not be able to get around Aizen’s Kyoka Suigetsu, but you can certainly get around Tokinada’s
Tokinada with Wabisuke would be a total menace.
Theres only two ways reiatsu levels could affect that power, and both are horrifying.
First, it could increase the range, probably along contact of whatever is hit, like clothing, the opponent's body. Thats the less scary option, but also the least likely.
The most likely, and scariest? The amount weight is increased by.
If a mid-level Lieutenant doubles weight, what would a mid-level Captain do? Quadruple it? Dectuple?

Tokinada reminded me of one of my all time favorite villains: Nimura Furuta
- both wanted to cause as much chaos as possible although they were living like royalty
- both found out that the society they live in is hypocritical
- both have deranged smiles
- both died grotesque and laughing
There's one difference between them though. Tokinada is completely nihilistic and dies laughing and mocking those who aren't able to kill him in the end. Furuta, on the other hand, is nihilistic but secretly wants to live a normal life and doesn't taunt anyone while dying.

When he was dying, he wasn’t taunting anyone and even confessed to the person who defeated him that he wanted to live a normal life, to which Kaneki actually acknowledged. Tokinada died while mocking everyone. So while both are very similar, their last moments reveal who they really are.

I really liked the power! The big final clash against Tokinada was fuun and the realisation that he had Kyoka Suigetsu was great. I'd be curious about how Enrakyoten would work with Sakanade, assuming Tokinada has higher reiatsu, would he be able to immediately manipulate things like heat that Shinji was trying for? Or is that something that he would have to train to achieve as well?
I mean, that's kinda a big assumption to make in the first place, and only the swords of *extremely* weak Shinigami ever showed improvement in his hands.
Copy abilities like this, scaled to the users power, are interesting when buffing up much weaker abilities. The grab bag of possibilities is amazing.

I think the Espada who consumes enemies and mimics their power is much more interesting.
And still it's even stronger than that as it's not just Zanpakuto that it can copy, but most other spirit weapons too. It's not a blade in the traditional sense that it copies but the term "blade" in anything called or considered a weapon in general. It's just that you also need to have the ability to wield those powers too.
Meaning that a Visored should not only be able to mimic a Soul Reaper's Zanpakuto but also an Arrancar's. Tousen should be the best of them as he not only had a Bankai but a Resurreccion and is more able to use powers from his Hollow side.
Hollows should be able to mimic other Hollow powers. It's possible that an Arrancar can mimic Soul Reaper powers too. It's just that they don't go through the same kind of transformation that Visoreds do to gain the opposite powers. It's a natural process of Hollows that can be done at any stage of Menos. They don't seem to gain a Zanpakuto spirit within them at any point though. With Visoreds, it's unnatural and violent and creates a second/third being inside of you. However, it's unclear if that was only with Ichigo since he had White inside of him before he went through the process.
Quincies should be able to mimic other Quincies powers. Is it just their "bows" or their Vollstandig or their Schrifts is something we'll probably never know though.
Fullbringers should be able to mimic other Fullbring abilities. Ginjo being the best of them as he's also a Soul Reaper and has Hollow powers other than his Fullbring powers.
Then there's Ichigo, Hikone and Kazui. They should all be able to mimic any ability they want. Ichigo was born with all the other races abilities, Hikone was created with them and presumably Kazui was also born with all of them. At the very least he has Quincy, Soul Reaper and Fullbring powers.
With Hikone depowered now and Kazui being a child with undefined powers so far, that leaves Ichigo as the one being that could use Enrakyoten to its fullest ability.
We only "see" it copy Shikai though. It's unclear exactly how it translates that to the abilities of other races. It is however stated to be able to copy them in some form. Maybe it's only during the Bankai state of Enrakyoten that it can copy a Vollstandig or Resurreccion. Maybe not. Does it even have a Bankai state? Can it copy Bankai as its Bankai? Who knows? Regardless, it's powerful. Even if just copying Shikai.
I'd wanna see soifon's bankai bumped up with this aizen launching a literal reality ending nuke

Tokinada was a nice villain but I prefer Hikone 100 times! If they ever animate Hikone vs Kenpachi it’s going to be one of the craziest battles in Bleach.
Damn. Talk about wild. Years and years ago in my youth I was on a RP Forum for Bleach, and I made an arrancar who as a child was killed in Nagasaki by the bomb and his shadow was burned onto a mirror. When he became a hollow, he had a mirror inside of his mouth that would reflect attacks back, and then his Resurrection was to create a giant mirror that would then let him copy the powers of anyone he faced. The difference was he could use their Shikai and Bankai, even if they themselves couldn't, but only for a limited time. People complained that it was too strong because he could use shinigami powers.
Glad to know that some 10 years later, Can't Fear Your Own World decided "hey you know what would be interesting..."

One wonders for all those watching this what their Zanpakuto would be and what release would you choose. Example - For me I would like my Zanpakuto to be called Titania Of Avalon and the release would be "Dream Titania Of Avalon" with my Bankai being " Bankai - Black Waltz Within The Blue Dark - Titania Of Avalon". I do not know Japanese but google tells me it is "Avu~aron no yume no titānia" and the Bankai would being "Bankai - Avu~aron no aoki yaminonakade no kuroi warutsu taitānia" So that is the best I can come up with.

I'm a fan of copycat/stealing abilities in any anime, but only if the power can be used following rules/limitations. An example I'd give is chrollo from Hunter x Hunter.
He's probably my spirit animal, think him and Kenpachi would've been good friends.
I think that enra kyoten can mimic to a degree, but as you mentioned is probably limited to the wielders rejatsu and soul; in that sense, being a soul reaper, he can't mimic hollow or quincy rejatsu. He can't mimic zangetsu, due to the foreign nature of the very blade
Mimicry is only really good if:
1) you are kirby
2) you can combine or use abilities in consecutive order quickly.
It isn't Mimicry for Kirby because that is Absorption.
Interesting idea for ur next video maybe rank the illusion type zanpakto from strongest to weakest like sakanade, kyoka suigetsu, Enra kyoten and maybe even muramasa, shinken hakkyoken and whatever else there is since it was mentioned here!

I want to see Ikkaku's bankai go over 100%. It still hurts to think about how weak it is, even moreso after the broken bankai explanation.

Is it possible the Ancestral Zanpakuto are the weapons used to defeat and tear apart the Soul King? I'd imagine the Ise Clan and their Shinken Hakkyoken were among the original 5, considering it was the first weapon known as an Ancestral Zanpakuto and its powers seem like something you'd need to kill/dismember the god of the world. They could exist outside that power structure instead, but I'd be surprised if they weren't involved at all

I love Tokinada as my favorite villain. He represents many real life elite, ranging from the wealthy to celebrities to royalty to politicians.
Enrakyoten can be seen as a representation of things many wealthy and powerful families have: things they did little to nothing to earn (like he didn't work hard to unlock or earn those powers; he copied and stole them, similar to how many wealthy and rich didn't earn out work hard for the money and power they got).

Kenpachi literally fought a mimic Quincy, and just laughed and cut him even harder. Mimic powers are weak in Bleach.
It depends on how mimic powers are used. Like Royd had an arguably weaker version of his brother's schrift but he destroyed Zaraki because unlike his brother he copied Yhwach instead of Zaraki. So if Loyd copied Yhwach he would have definitely beaten Zaraki or any other captain asside from Yama.
@@huntertezz - I believe the databooks revealed that the Real Yhwach was the one who defeated Zaraki. Yhwach defeated Zaraki without mercy, swapped places with the Mimic Quincy, and then Lloyd pretended he beat Zaraki when Yama arrived.

The only new info we have of the twins through Kubo's questions was that Royd can copy 70% of someone's power and Loyd 70% of memories.

If Loyd copied Yhwach he would have destroyed Zaraki like his brother did with 80% of Yhwach's power.

For example, we saw Head Captain Yamamoto use his shikai a lot more than his bankai (and that bankai itself has 4 abilities)... So, would the copied Zanpaktou only "know" the shikai and/or *some* of the bankai's 4 abilities?

The funny thing is when I first thought up what my own zanpakuto would be, I thought up of a zanpakuto like Enrakyōten but instead of full on copying it only mimicked since when I was younger, like 10 to 17, I was fairly skilled at mimicry. Its shikai only mimic other shikais while its bankai could only mimic other bankai. Its mimicry did allow me to mimic Hollow techniques/powers and even Quincy techniques/powers. It’s one draw back is that it could only mimic one thing at a time and it only mimics, so it’s not a true form of the powers or techniques. It can alter what it’s mimicking to a degree. I think I thought it up from the Justice League/Justice League Unlimited Animated Series’s Amazo Android. Now in seeing what zanpakuto going beyond 100%, I would what to see Hozukimaru. Curious if there would be any noticeable change, especially in bankai as it takes time for it to charge up.

Why would anyone ever want to copy Omeada’s zanpakuto?
Sounds like Enrakyoten from the Bleach CFYOW light novels which is able to copy any abilities seen by its user, in this case, it's Tokinada (the main villain of CFYOW). The sword is passed down thru generations of the Tsunayashiro clan which is one of the 5 Great Nobel Clans in Bleach. However, the extent of that copied power depends on how powerful the user is. So he was able to copy Yamamoto's shikai, but it was far weaker than the real thing, same thing with Aizen's Kyoka Suigetsu, because he himself isn't on par with either of them when it comes to sheer reiatsu. The zanpakuto also kills its user slowly by using it.

Actually that guy is a awesome excuse to see Bankais of dead characters/characters that don't use Bankai.
Way up would be Komamurus immortal/undead bankai. I doubt this guy would have the time limit from ripping out his heart. So he might be a "can only be sealed" kind of enemy. But it might not be copyable.
This kinda points at a problem I have with Bleach as a whole. There’s so much history and lore that gets mentioned in anime/manga but never gets fully fleshed out. TYBW anime is starting to fill these holes but it’s still not a lot. Things like Hell, noble houses, the early world, pre soul soul society. I hope the Hell Arc continues and we learn more but that’s still not confirmed. We’re told always told about noble families and how powerful they are in Bleach but never shown this in the mainline series. I really hope the upcoming parts of TYBW anime give us more history of the bleach world
