I love Sig innovating with the FCU and swappable frames and such. However the p320 design is not what I would choose. They need to redesign their flagship striker fired pistol line. Take the p365 design and upscale it for duty use. I know they won’t do this because of the military contract, but they should. The P365 design is superior in every way.

@@CountryTortoise In the comments here he replied to someone asking about grip width compared to other common modules including the WC, and he stated the Brouwer was the slimmest of them all. Seems to be an inconsistency there. Also he states the WC grip is just a more ergonomic version of the stock Sig grips, but I could have sworn the WC grips come with the 1911 grip angle, the higher, longer beavertail, and the higher trigger relief same as the Brouwer. WC's business was built on 1911s so it shouldn't be a huge surprise that they modeled their Sig grip on 'em.

The TXG frame, tungsten infused polymer, was intended for competition shooting. They love to make their pistols nice and heavy, 34 oz roughly, so it transitions from target to target smoothly, and it soaks up recoil to a degree. Anyone who carries a 3 lb+ pistol for duty is either a gigachad or is oblivious to the TXG's intent.

@@JoshR-t9j Yup, but it started as a competition gun under STI, and is now trending back in that direction. A lot of elements were streamlined to reduce snagging, but a heavy gun is not always a comp gun, that's simply the trend. Weight just benefits a comp gun more than a duty one.

I had the p80 grip module on my p320 for a while and it was ok, but it was far too blocky for me and I had to dremel and radius a lot of edges, and even then I'd still get glock knuckle on high round count shooting sessions. Then when I did the PMM flush comp setup I got the WC full size grip module, and even with the comp and weights installed in the GM, I just can not run the gun as fast compared to the p80 module and no comp. I agree the WC module is too thin, and I can feel on my strong hand it almost leaves an air gap on my palm (I wear large sized gloves). NONE of them come close. People rave about the Wilson Combat but I agree, they’re too small circumference wise. I also hate the boomer looking side grip design lol. This looks and feels like a 2011. The silica carbide looks great but I just have the base version and it’s plenty of grip on the front and backstrap and that’s all that matters imo. The polymer used and overall molding is second to none. Quite honestly other than the metal grip mods I truly think this is has the most thought and design put into it period. It’s perfect. If people are concerned about a gun discharging uncommanded there are options to make sure that never happens. Whether you choose the manual safety or the trigger safety agency put together it's up to you.
It's tough to rag on the P320 when the vast majority of reports are of guns that just run. You see them at local competitions, you see them with officers (even though they supposedly pop off), and with prepared citizens.
If you don't personally trust a gun, or you struggle to deal with the different impulse, then don't buy one. I live in a crap state and even I can testfire a lot of the common and some of the less common pistols out there before I even think of buying one.
Glock, Walther, Smith, Sig, HK, CZ, etc I honestly don't care. If you hand it to me I will shoot it.

I CAN’T WAIT to try this…my current favorites are the agency Icarus and traditional sig xframes including txg (they fit me). It’s funny everyone loves the wc grips and I really want to because they seem great, but it makes the 320 feel like my macro and not comfortable for my 2x glove hand. I have a we will say slight p320 addiction and have tried the OG frame (my least fave), xframe, lxg xframe (some how wet handed this is slicker in my hand than the standard), txg frame, axg frame, Wilson frame and the agency Icarus.

So you spend the money on a 320 and then you spend the extra 300 bones on this. At this point im just going to save up money and go all in on a staccato or DWX and get that single action trigger and a nicer pew pew all around.
