@@mr_mikegr4447 I’m really enjoying the Close version. I feel the OP version isn’t as good so far. I like the extra damage you get from Close when you’re not hitting OP. I think I’m going to min/max Close as much as I can. Already up to T110 with just a few upgrades.
6 minute boss fight stings a bit still. I wasn't expecting much with these changes but was pleasantly surprised that it's already strong clearing ability got even better. I think Pulv is best used with a duo or trio with a strong boss killer partner. I am incredibly disappointed that this was what they thought would help Druids perform better...
I have poverty gear. Once I get Starless and GA spirit per second it will cut the bossing time way down. This huge buff and it made Pulverize good compared to the meta. We definitely need way more.
@tDog1993 Meh, it's the end of the season, and I have top notch Pulv gear and a 6 minute boss fight in anything above t120 or so is the norm. It's a fantastic t101 farming build for Druid though.
When Elon Musk is even saying druids still need a ton of love, they really do. These changes are simply not enough and we are still 20+ tiers lower than everyone else.
I've checked multiple times but I'm still one or o Paragon points short on the last board where you come back into the constricting tendrils board to get the superiority node. I don't know what I'm missing
Meta is on boots for the Uber version. You should be tanky enough to survive a cc. It’s also not as important for Softcore as dying doesn’t carry a significant penalty.
Great video and awesome build, many thanks! I'm curious about two things though: 1) You don't seem to have any form of vulnerability in your kit. Isn't that super useful? Why don't you use the Exploit glyph, for instance? 2) Wouldn't a two handed mace be the best weapon to take advantage of the Overpower damage bonus?
On the glass cannon version I have vulnerable. However, you can always flex an affix on the rings for chance to Vuln and swap Werebear for Dominate and slot Exploit over Dominate. I like staff to buff Earthen Devastation node. In the OP version just swap gems on weapon to rubies.
They need to add about 5 zero's on the damage for druid, They spend their time buffing a class that has already cleared a 150, By far the D4 Dev's we have now are about the dumbest yet.
Hey Niko! What are your thoughts on Pulverize vs. Wind Shear for HC and overall farming/damage? Also, do the proposed S5 changes hurt Wind Shear at all?
I like the comfort and ease of Wind Shear for HC. Pulverize is good but not as tanky. Season 5 Wind Shear will get hit pretty hard by the cap on Thunderstruck. Most likely won’t be viable in S5 and probably isn’t intended.
@@NikoWrex Gotcha; yah I just finished your overview video of the PTR notes and saw the thunderstruck change. I bet they revert or adjust it because Wind Shear is just too viable. I was hoping they'd add a Temper that allowed us to make the size of Wind Shear bigger - that'd be awesome :) So for S4 which build have you enjoyed the most?
@@NikoWrex Pulverize is definitely fun, but it is missing the harder hitting nature of Wind Shear, especially for bossing. I think Wind Shear is still king for Druid for S4.
I dont lije quickshift and bestial , how much damage would i loose to use ursine strength? I feel like looking at the buffs in stead of playing if i use the bestial and quick shift😢
You don’t have to look because you’re constantly swapping. Your primary form is bear so you always have the damage. Ursine Strength isn’t a big loss. Should be perfectly fine. I was using both on stream.
Absolutely brother! I’ve been playing with the Damage to Close version I have in the planner and really liking it. I’ll be streaming this weekend with the build.
I know this is more of a bear bear but I’ve wanted to ask for a while I’m running shred build with sheep aspect but I’m only maxing out at 1-2-3mill damage how do I get that damage to go up like any specific affixes on gear or etc I’m lev 100 if it helps so fully leveled
I don't know what up with your build planner but none of it makes sense. You have Mjolnic ring equipped for some reason? It looks nothing like what you have in your video...
Over power would work better for bosses if they just grew a brain and turned it into a landing skill and not a count skill it would help alot........more for bosses
@@fhoenixx5185 he means it should be based on per hit rather than timer or kill count based which i do agree with as it would help more with the boss. What they should do is change the obsidian slam boon to give guaranteed OP on the 10th hit rather than kill at least this way this boon is still useful vs the boss. The boon currently is ok vs trash mobs but then when it comes time for the boss this boon is useless.
@@henrynguyen4315 okay 👍 yeah same suggestion for raw might aspect I have had for. Yeah ilwith timers it stacks all overpower at start of fight then you got 10 seconds ish timer to op.
@@fhoenixx5185 the problem is that the druids damage from pulverize heavily relies on OP. After using your guaranteed OP theres a 12 second gap where you are doing zero damage, its really bad esp when you dont crit off the OP. I think it’s a visual bug in Mobalytics. Just pull a 2% HP node.
Hey, I noticed that you dropped the metamorphosis aspect from the boots. How does this build mitigate CC now if you happen to get stunned?
