About the Video

Many bankers refuse to accept name of joint holder of SB a/c(E or O) as nominee also.
That is because there is no need to do so. Second holder is by default like a nominee. It's called E/S Either or Survivor.

In my view its financial institution incompetence or ways to make money by not enforcing Nomination as they do for KYC. RBI should make strong rule to make it financial institution responsibility to ensure its done. Nomination as a process exist from decades and they just making buckets to keep that money.
