I remember falling in love with Kate Nash when Made of Bricks dropped. I told all of my friends she was punk but they just couldn't hear it. She dropped Girl Talk and proved me right. I sat outside of a Detroit concert without a ticket in the winter freezing asking everyone if they had a spare ticket. Finally, the security guard took pity and let me in. I gave Kate my flannel and she said "for me?" and she handed me a zine. She probably doesn't remember, but I'll never forget! Love Kate!

Girl talk is my most favorite album I've ever heard from her. I'm out of touch due to being a traveler around that time until now. But I'd wager, I'm at least 1000 of those watchers on that RUclips album.

Hearing this voice made me start crying in my car. Kate Nash's music has been there with me for almost my entire growing as an adult. I'm 37 and I listened to her during a bad relationship, a better one, a marriage, everything.
I've never been a current listener of Kate Nash, but somehow I always found her again after every rebranding she makes
I love it. It's so intimate and heartfelt.

I don’t see a section on her website for a press release or the labels site, but there are a few articles starting to pop up online with some quotes.

Took my daughter to a small gig in a bookshop when Katie's friend had a book launch. I remember thinking what a nice friend she was. When we went to the loo, my daughter said Kate and me looked alike, I said, ''yes when I was younger maybe I looked like her, but not now, I think it would be a bit insulting" and as I finished the sentence she walked into the loo. My daughter was a teenager but we didn't know what to say, we just hadn't expected her to walk in!! We all just looked at each other in shock, and I did look like her, so I think she got freaked. We tried to smile but it was soooo awkward. She's slimmer now and looks less like she did when she was younger . I still look pretty much the same though. Just realised I missed her playing in Banquet Records, only a week ago, I would have shouted, "hey Kate, Its me from the toilets at Waterstone's bookshop, do you remember me !!r??" Always be kind to yourself and how you look, a person who looks like you may be listening and you owe it to them to value yourself however you feel! We are all such stupid humans at times. Kate's songs are written from the soul. She's very beautiful. Xx
