I'm 3 years older than you, this year I took the big step back into education, and stepped down from working full-time to part-time. I'm putting all myself into studying a degree in something I like, in a sector that's also considered lucrative. I save and invest a chunk of my income every month for the sake of a brighter future, so far, I'm feeling good about my life even though my social life is virtually nonexistent, which for an introvert is no big deal. My serenity comes from the awareness of slowly getting in a better position as time goes by, each and every month, that's all I need. Take action, build your future, do your best, the rest will come by itself I suppose... If not, well who cares. :)

I think I'm doing well in both school and work which is all I really care about in this moment of my life. As an update there are some small chances of something playing out in the dating department too; however, the outcome is not so relevant in the end, good if anything happens, no loss if it doesn't play out. The way I really see it is that being together surely might help, but it won't fix all your problems and, at times, it will make life even worse when the relationship is just being held by the fear of being alone. I don't know what your problems are but you can almost always turn it around; easier said than done, I know, but that's the harsh truth, the rest is just lack of commitment/desire. Take care.

We love the song but if you really think about it, it is just about an ex feeling the sweet regret we wanted them to feel for breaking up with us.
