Wolverine's 50th anniversary was celebrated this year and he appeared in a film with Deadpool. It makes sense for him to have a good number of figures released. Most of the waves released this year did NOT feature a Wolverine figure though
My wife and I already decorated our home for Christmas because the year is flying by so fast. We love the holidays. Blessings Dave. 🙏 I would love Hasbro DC Legends.
BeastKingdom DAH DC has shown these figures so far ,only one pic online . They look to be 8" figures less soft goods than the other stuff they have done ,but they do have soft goods capes. Alex Ross Kingdom Come Superman,Alex Ross Batman , Composite Batman/Superman and Superpowers Darkseid.
David Vonner presented what I believe to be the definitive Batman figures to Mattel when they still had the license. They declined. Apparently they are allergic to money.
McFarlane Toys strength was in highly detailed sculpts that could hide the ugly joints, such as the Death Metal stuff. When it comes to simpler people in tights , not so good for me personally. I would think Hasbro would show their weaknesses with some figures, and strengths with others .
I would love Hasbro to do DC license. I am just not a mcfarlane fan, although I will give them credit over the last few years. The green lantern roster is looking good
If Hasbro got to do DC while keeping Marvel (which is possible) I would love that! Finally a DC line that we could mix in with Marvel. As a fan of both Universes, that’s a wallet killer but it would be perfect. And it could even lead to Amalgam!
I have exactly two McFarlane DC figures. Darkseid and Starfire. That's it. I have more Mafex DC figures than that. McFarlane is way better at statues than with figures. My largest issue with McFarlane is the character selection. We're, what, twelve years deep into McFarlane's DC line and we've had Ghost, who I have never heard off, but we've not had Zatanna, Black Canary, Mister Miracle, Big Barda, classic Brainiac, etc.
Comparing how many Spider-Man, iron man, wolverine figures we get in legends to how many batman figures we get in mcfarlane is a bad point. McFarlane has been making dc figures for less than 4 years and there are already more batman figures in that 4 years than all of those marvel characters combined in the entire lifespan of the marvel legends line.
Yeah it's not even close: McFarlane going with 7" figures and the poor accessories killed the line for me I have gone back to collecting all the old 6" DCDU figures and they are pretty good considering how old they are.. 👍
After seeing their Street Fighter and Universal Monsters lines, Jada would be my dream pick to take over the DC license, but given their smaller size as a company I know it’s unlikely. Still, Jaks Pacific and Spinmaster would do go work, so I’d be well on board for them to take over DC… even if it still feels unlikely for Todd to give it up
Like the show, but a lot of your viewers are kind of out-of-touch w/ McFarlane & DCM figs. They're incredibly popular. Not saying I love 'em, but they have LEVELED UP over the past couple yrs. PlasticFree packaging, bad MCU figs, Ollie's overruns of Legends & a better price point have just handed them marketshare at an alarming pace. Also, being incredibly prolific & constantly in the toy news helps. But in the end, they've done a superb job of broadening their line. Don't write off UncleTodd
All very fair points my friend. I try not to let myself be too biased. To be fair they have definitely made big strides. The 90’s movie Batman figures in particular are highlights.
For your information Dave I'm not pregnant it was just that that night we were drinking all that peach schnapps and eating that sushi and that mail order New York pizza
Ahh man, many waves before, when they were calm somewhere in the nerdom days I seen a marvel legends black grey batman, he's out there!? Im not crazy for mcfarlane. 😂😂😂jazwares gets dc license, worst hands, why?
Why is everyone so big about cloth capes? Why can't we have both? Cloth clothing is what Mattel was doing since the 40's. It's not new. Toy companies have been too cheap and lazy to do it. It's not expensive. Barbie has cloth wardrobes aplenty! Too much praise is being given for the simplest accessories. MEZCO figures can't even change their soft goods that they overcharge for!😡
@@DisplayingModelBehaviour I think it's a shame that we praise companies for doing things that should be standard. We don't praise car manufacturers for providing wheels on the cars🤷🏽♂️
If Hasbro made DC I'd buy DC cause I do like it I just don't like McFarlane figures
That's exactly how I feel
Yeah I think a lot of folks share that sentiment
Same here bro
Same. Mcfarlane figures look like bad bootlegs
McFarlane makes such awful figures.
THE BEST NAME FOR A VIDEO EVER !!!!!
Only Jada Toys could replace Hasbro while keeping the same price point IMO. But they're too small of a company to match Hasbro's output.
Yeah it would be tough for them to compete.
That's the dream, I'd love Hasbro 6 inch DC legends!!

That’s very true
Somehow mange to screw it up like lightning collection
Man I love Mcfarlane Figures

These had the potential to be amazing
We need a decent Wonder woman ffs
I think they made one recently
@@DisplayingModelBehaviour she was very rare though. Popular figures are always rare with McFarlane though. 🤷🏽♂️

I've wanted a DC line in scale and in style with Legends for years. I've made a few customs but thats not enough 😂
Me too, it would be incredible!
Loved the Dennis Leary reference at the start!
For those of you wondering - it's a nod to "Asshole" by Dennis Leary.
An oldie but a goodie

Hell yeah!
How did i not get the notification for the livestream. This is a conversation id have loved to added to.
It's a shame you missed it, it was a blast! You know I’ll catch you next time brother!
Opening up the video with a The Office reference I see
I didn’t even spot I did that!
I would love Hasbro to do DC license. I am just not a mcfarlane fan, although I will give them credit over the last few years. The green lantern roster is looking good
Yeah they’ve definitely made some strides
Cause it would scale better with my legends I would be all over that line.

Arnt hasbro figs like 25 bucks?
Hate DC apart from Batman, but love Dave so this was an instant watch as always.

Similarly I have a select couple of figures
That’d be nice and that way we’ll finally have Transformers X DC crossover.
That would be a fun line of new possibilities!
You should never pay more than $30 USD for a pair of jeans.
But they had rips in them!
@DisplayingModelBehaviour in that case, you shouldn't pay more than $10. 😂

Ha$bro would rule the galaxy !!!!
IIRC, Retro Beast was $39.99 at retail.
I think it depends on where you were shopping. I B was lucky enough to pick him up for 25 bucks. (Back when legends cost 20)

Power Princess sold out. Last I checked you can't get it sub 50 dolliz.

If Hasbro made DC figures I'd actually buy them. MacFarlane makes ugly clunky repetitive stuff.
Clunky I feel is a good word
