Aunty is getting flashbacks!! Aunty is just like most Indian mothers, the epitome of sacrifice, family first and respect for elders. How she answers maintains respect and sincerely just keeps things to herself. Indian mothers are ❤❤❤ Aunty your daughter lived whatever you missed in fact more. Today’s daughters are not here to compete but to live what our mothers failed!!

I think this is a fantastic podcast... The perspectives of each generation is amazing. It's also is a good reminder, of the idea that each generation has its own viwes and its set beyond an age, and i think we should just make peace with it.
Every generation has it's own views which form based on the societal situations when you grow up. Wonderful podcast and really helps in understanding life.

@@salonayyy makes me understand that my mother, my mother in law and my grandmother, all come from different generational times, different upbringings and therefore they keep a different point of view which need not match any standard of modern liberal thinking or morality.

Log jo bhi sochein lekin Amma ji Bulandshahr mein apni generation ke hisab se zyada progressive hain. Progressive sound karne ke liye, Dil mein kuch, zuban par kuch aur nahin hai.

Saloni's mom raised a very good point about food wastage point in weddings. It's a great concern. My mom also said the same thing that with the fancy buffet system the food is more and even the taste is bad. To serve food while all the guests are seated is the finest and the most cost efficient way and must be preserved.
