Hi Carter! 😊 Stopped at the part in the video where you're showing the beautiful cabinet you got from your neighbor. I love it! I was thinking instead of replacing the broken glass you could add fabric / curtain panels to the back of the doors to give you some concealed storage. It would also look super cute! Just a thought. 🙂
Came over to RUclips this morning hoping you had a new vlog up... and tada, here it is! I was just thinking how spaghetti is such a (in the kindest way possible) strange dish for Thanksgiving, BUT then I remembered my family does spaghetti and meatballs for Christmas, so really... who am I to judge that as strange? lol The courtesy to give your partner alone time is incredible. That was something I seriously lacked in my last relationship and it's so nice to see someone being so thoughtful about that. My Amazon book wishlist is growing dramatically cuz of you - thank you! Oh shoot... you DNF Cinnamon Bun Book Store... that was next up on my list.
Honestly, I am a believer that Thanksgiving is kind of an overrated holiday (at least in Canada) so I've never really associated turkey with Thanksgiving!! I'm all for keeping it simple and easy because at the end of the day is who you surround yourself with not the meal you have! And we love spaghetti in this house so why not have spaghetti for a holiday? ❤️❤️ Yes I think being mindful of giving your partner alone time especially when one of you works from home and one works in the office is so important! He deserve his alone time just as much as I get it on the weekdays you know??
@@CarterSullivan My family is French Canadian (well, my mom is) and so we never celebrated Thanksgiving at all. Only started doing it when we were a bit older and I was like hey... I like stuffing! We were definitely never a turkey for any holiday family - maybe ham? But generally we'd do "weird" dishes no one expected for Christmas. Making Thanksgiving easy is definitely the play. Ain't nobody got time to sit around and make a turkey for 12 hours... that'd wild.
