While waiting for this video I watched f1 2019 career mode
I only managed to finish 1 of the first 6 races in season 1, so I think it’s just bad luck that you can’t finish (don’t know what will happen in Imola, so can’t judge if you will finish that one)

Ben, I've told this to Tom as well: deactivate these reliability failures. They're badly implemented in terms of RNG by Codemasters. Until Codemasters decides to fix the RNG for these failures, I strongly suggest to deactivate them, or try to see if it's a bit better with full damage instead of sim damage.
what's wrong with the RNG? (I've never had any problems with it)
I've only had 1 faliure in 2 seasons because i've focused my upgrades on Durability.

I ended up doing some my team and i just won the title in season 4 at the last race in a wet to dry Abu Dhabi against Mick Schumacher by 3 points he finished 3rd i finished 7th

ive had a co-op season where i havent finished 1 single race (totally didn't crash all 10 races)
I have a Co-Op season with a friend where we had combined 9 mechanical failures out of the first 6 races...
The only problem with coop for me is that I am way better than my friends, so in every you can see my friend crashing in a Mercedes while I am leading in a Williams

How come they still don’t have lapped cars overtaking the Safety Car..?
Probably a few reasons. Unless they enable ghosting for those cars I can already see the videos of AI taking each other, or the player out while trying to do it, or hitting the safety car. Then there's the issue of 25/50% races where you can already argue they get warped more by a Safety Car due to how long it stays out. So if you have a car or two that got lapped early due to contact causing a spin/damage you'd end up burning up a much larger percentage of the race.
That, and you also have to factor in how many use the Safety Car in their saves/lobbies. So the option might end up only making sense in a 100% race, at which point it ends up quite far down the priority list for Codemasters.

I'm not completely sure, but I think it's a glitch which can happen after you reload from a save point.

Hello, if anyone can help me under this comment I would really be grateful.
After playing F1 2021 My team career for 2 full seasons, my car got around 900-950 on the R&D charts. I am in the third season and the car is literally undriveable. I get lots of understeer, and get lock ups instantly after braking even mildly hard. I cant even do 100% braking for a moment at any corners cause I get serious lockups instantly.
Is there anyone who experience the same issue? How much harder is it for you to drive an almost fully upgraded car? I dont really understand the understeer, since the car should be able to carry more speed into the corners with the same setup. The braking can be explained maybe because of higher top speeds and more heat being generated by the brakes but i dont know honestly.
It would mean a lot if someone answered.

I feel your pain on not being able to finish. I replaced my engine and all components before Australia since Jeddha was coming up and I wanted a nice fresher piece going into it, and of course 5 laps to go at Australia and got the famous words from Jeff and had to retire. Didn't want any grid penalties going into Jeddha, but we'll see what happens starting g from the back.

Tom Martinez had engine failures in 2 of the final 3 races and a total of 4 for the whole season. Ferrari power supply. I think thats the prob

Is it just me or is the game audio kind of low?
So, when you had that brake issue last season in (mainly) the Russian gp. Did you run really soft suspension like this? I've had the same issue of the car sliding away mid-corner but that was because I had no stability on such soft suspension. It's really not good for aerodynamics and you don't really need it on most tracks to absorb bumps, I'd do my suspension juist 3-4 clicks stiffer if I were you. It worked for me and maybe it will (apart from the brake problem) also make you faster. Maybe you can try it sometime.
