Lexi, thank you for such a thorough review of these gorgeous Elf shadows and lip oils. I am going to get the quad set for sure and some of the eyeshadows. Do you think that all the colors will look good on mature eyelids though? I'm 63 and things have changed, 😂. Have a great weekend.
I'm glad my review was helpful. You will love the lip oil set! For the glitter eyeshadows, it comes down to personal preference. I think the lighter shades can work for any age. The glitter is very fine, lightweight and smooth. The dark shades have an intense foiled look (very pigmented) so if you've used this type of finish before and are happy with results, then you'll enjoy them. If you don't care for the intense foiled finish, I'd say skip the deeper shades. I hope this helps. Have a great weekend!
I love the lip oils and lip liners, but the glitter balm lipstick got glitter all over the face and not a fan. I do wonder if the glitter particles are safe to ingest since it does come off.
Stay tuned for new lip oils from elf. I ordered almost all the shades and will do a video on it as soon as they arrive in the mail. And yes, the glitter lip balm does have glitter that stays on after the product wears off. There's something about glitter flecks that just clings to the skin 🤷🏻♀️ Thanks for watching!
I was so disappointed in the elf eyeshadow. I bought the peachy shade but i didn't realize how much blue glitter was in it! Cool tones do not look good on me. Also the fall out was awful!. Any suggestions?.
Sorry to hear that you didn't like them. I use my finger to apply them in light layers. The lighter two shades (Champagne Showers and White Hot) have a lot more glitter in them than the rest of the range. For those, you'd want to use your finger to apply. You could try loading up your eyeshadow brush with the shadow first and then spritzing it with setting spray before applying. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching!!
Oh boy! That filthy rich shade is gorgeous. The bomb! Thanks for sharing. The lip balm is beautiful as well.❤❤
It is. I will be using that shade next. Thanks for watching!
I love the fleck shadows and the lips. Oh, mamma!
They are very pretty 😉 Thanks for watching!
