I have a 65" LG OLED. I put Red Dead 2 in the XSX and go find various locations in the mountains, or at the shore of various lakes in first person, and then just put the controller down and leave it there. I like to read a book with calming music and watch whatever location I've picked go through its day/night cycle.
Just love it. I'm an avid camper, but when i get the itch in the cold half of the year, i put RD2 on, and it fills the void.
My dream gaming experience would be if RD2 had a "build your own log cabin on the lake" mode, but with VR capability in mind when designing it.
Always wanted to build my own cabin by the lake, and RD2 has beautiful landscape like that.
I'd be in there for hours, sawing and nailing and building a nice big wrap around porch ❤
For me, the atmosphere/graphics of RD2 in first person are second to none.
I get Calilisto, as many have said, and no harm meant, but I couldn't stand the game. I'm just not into gore stuff. To each there own. It's graphics are technically great, but I don't like seeing blood and guts and death. I don't even play RD2. I just go around looking for locations. I couldn't tell you the first thing about the game, lol. I watched a gameplay of it, so i knew once i got through the first chapter it would become open world, so i did play that, but after that, i just stopped.
It's become a therapy tool, lol. Absolutely love just exploring places in it.

Calisto Protocol for me! ✋🏼 I know a lot of people disliked it for being a Dead Space knockoff but it’s the best looking game so far I’ve played on next gen.

Your entirely correct Callisto Protocols graphics are far superior to anything period, they will not be beaten for 3-5 years.
robocop rogue city looks stunning on the series x.
Totally Robocop is one of the best looking games
Far cry 6 looks amazing on the series x I got it didn’t have space to do the upgrade then deleted a few games and wow I were blown away it looks incredible
I still have to watch the video, but here is my list:
A Plague Tale Requiem, Dead Island 2, Ghostwire Tokyo (criminally underrated), Forza Horizon 5, The Callisto Protocol, Gears 5, Avatar, Cyberpunk 2077, High On Life, Scorn.
Evil west looks amazing too
I think Re4 remake looks amazing.
Crash 4 looked absolutely amazing, especially the racing level in another plant, the colors were amazing.
There is some moments in Starfield that make me go ‘wow’ but also moments where not so good 😢
The cities look awsome, but the enviroments i think could have been better

some NPCs are incredibly good looking, others look like they are from a PS2 game. The overall graphics of cities and enviroments are good tho, textures are insanely detailed.
Plague Tale Requiem got an honorable at least, but I think it deserved a spot on this list. That game is gorgeous, and the rat physics are crazy!
Best looking game in my opinion. The lighting is unmatched.

Its not only the console you're playing on but tv plays a huge part! I recommend a Sony Bravia. I have a 65in Sony Bravia x90l and specifically for gaming. Both consoles pop with awe inspiring glorious detail! Dead space remake if you really slow down and absorb the amsptoshere is absolutely mind blowing in comparison with the original. A true masterpiece right along with RE4 remake !
too dark compared to the original. It was not meant to be like that, but I guess they had to show something different, to give the remake a reason to exist. The original Dead Space is absolutely incredible even today.
@@blaster5800 I whole heartily agree with you. I played the hell out of the original dead space. It's hard to go back and play the original with a polished up remake. But it's a great time in gaming now ,because we get the best of both worlds new and old versions.

Ori, Disco Elysium, Planet of Lana, Alan Wake II, Tekken 8, Dead Space RM etc.
Disco Elysium is AWESOME. The graphics could have been done on a 360
Believe it or not Night City was in GTA V and was called Paleto Bay. Both are based on the real life location of Morro Bay and Los Osos.
Red dead redemption 2 is my #1 not sure how it didn't even crack your top 10?
Agree with the number 1, I'd add a plague tale requiem or Calisto Protocol instead of planet of lana.
The best looking game I've played on Series X was Shadow Of The Tomb Raider. It's amazing how much better that 2018 game looks than most new games. The worst looking game was 2023's Immortal Of Aveum. It looked and played like mush. Deadspace Remake was "OK". It looked great but not nearly as good as Shadow and it wasn't as smooth either despite being much smaller in scope and scale . Honestly, a lot of the older games from 2015-2019 look better than the newest 2023 games.

@@andrewcrossman2165it's not though, your 2 extra terraflops don't mean anything because Ps5 can optimize games better & everything here is on Playstation. All ya got is Halo & Starfield. Anything else is cartoons, racing, flying or last gen. You're the one brainwashed.
@@Alien_isolationist exact same processors, ps has less computing cores, yes its two teraflops, but it can make a big difference when trying to push true 4k/ 60. Not trying to be an ass but they are close- there is just zero reason to get a slightly weaker console and then tell everyone that its better; when its purely preference of games. If i liked the PS exclusives, I would go with that. But I can't think of a single game on PlayStation, that would make me buy one. I mean Spider-Man maybe., but all the games for me are all cut scenes, and extremely linear. But I honestly hate this fight. I think it's stupid. But it just irks me when someone tries to say it's better when it absolutely is not. In fact, the build is much cheaper in quality. But if you'd like it that's great.
@@andrewcrossman2165 it's not, Xbox falls short on 4k 60 same as PS5.....Playstation is easier to optimize for, but I guess you don't know anything about it. PS5 has a 1440p setting for best frame rate & I'm fine with that. Graphics has little to do with resolution. It's still early in this generation, games will come

Those would be the top 10 best graphics on Xbox imo not necessarily in that order though. Forza Horizon 5, Halo infinite and resident evil 4 remake impressed me the most though

honestly visually for me its frontiers of pandora. didnt like the game much personally but man those graphics…insane

Resident Evil 3 Remake is one of the games on the top of my list. I think it does a much better job with light and dark and its use of HDR is unimaginably good. Probably one of the best games to use HDR this generation. Playing it, made me question whether or not most developers are actually designing their games around HDR or they are faking it and using some sort of SDR to HDR conversion.
Walking around the game world of Cyberpunk is pretty great. Not only that, when you get into a gunfight and realize that there is a ton of stuff in the environment that has physics attached to it… Not to mention, how huge the cities and map is. The only thing that bothers me about it is the same thing that bothers me about every open world game… 8 million buildings around you, but you can only go in a few. Also, outside of missions… There seems to be very little to do, other than to run into random gangs and dispatch of them. which seems a huge waste to that incredibly large game world.
Forza Motorsport can be a great looking game at times and others it can be a mess. Due to the lighting being off in many circumstances. I do love the weather effects, I do love the ability to speed up the time, which adds to in-game atmosphere when your racing. Gives you the ability to randomize weather, which with the speeding up of the time of day… Adds a lot of atmosphere and randomness to the game. Some tracks are gorgeous, others not so much. I do look forward to what they release in the future. Since this game seems to be based around upgrades and sequels. Which is cool.
Teardown, For its use of physics during gameplay. Which is a rarity. It makes playing it, just a blast. It also has great lighting and atmosphere and the gameplay is fun.
No Mans Sky keeps improving with every update. The visuals have taken on life of their own. They are always adding new stuff. Lighting is top-notch, the HDR work is nice and the atmosphere is pretty incredible. Now that they’ve added missions and a bunch of side quests, not to mention the random space combat… Which, mixed with the ability to fly in and out of a planets atmosphere, and down to the ground, through canyons and such, makes them so incredibly satisfying. The enemy AI is also incredible, which helps.
The next generation updates to GTA V look pretty incredible. Playing with raytracing at 60 FPS is pretty mind blowing. With great lighting and HDR, the game looks phenomenal. Still plays great. I just wish they would bring some of the multiplayer stuff over to single player. Like the casino and why not have horse racing at the horse track beside it? I understand that GTA VI is their main focus now… I just hope that they make the city more interactive and make random relationships more of an aspect to the world environments. Being able to meet NPCs and befriend them to help you or simply just to hang out with would be cool.
Of course, Metro is probably the best example of raytracing so far this generation. It’s one of the few games that actually uses bounce lighting. Which, during certain times of the day makes the game look absolutely jaw dropping. What I don’t understand is, if this game can do it… Why haven’t other ones been able to? all we get in other games is either reflections or shadows, sometimes both. But never bounce lighting.
I think NFS Unbound is absolutely gorgeous. The mix of real world looking environments with more cartoony characters is Incredible. I love driving around in the environment . I don’t know if more of the environment opens up as you play it, as I have only played a few races. I’m hoping so. What is there, is pretty amazing.
Honorable mentions… Stray Blade, Everspace 2, Jusant, Trepang 2(Which might as well be F.E.A.R 4), even though not technically this gen but still look incredible and deserve love: Arise, Ashen, Dying Light(got a patch, but never gets mentioned), Kingdom Come Deliverance, Mafia Definitive, Wingman.
Games that deserve and need next gen updates, remakes or great sequels: Batman Series, Battlefield: Hardline, Bioshock series, Deus Ex, Far Cry 4, Mafia series, Metal Gear V, Middle Earth games, Rage 1 & 2, Red Dead Redemption I & II, Ryse, Sleeping Dogs, Sunset Overdrive, Ghost Recon: Wildlands.
I still have to play the Dead Space Remake...it looks gorgeous!
I loved the dead space remake until my character got stuck behind. Some pipes and my save was there so the game was ruined immediately uninstaller

What about High on Life, this game has crazy colours and mad shapes of... everything? I imagine that doing the job especially with light and just overall is really good job!
Also, you even mentioned it - Witcher 3, it got overhaul for "next"(more like current) gen quite short time ago, I may be thinking of other game but I think it's Witcher 3.
Another game is... Starfield, even tho I'm incredibly disappointed with this game, I have to admit that graphics are on another lvl, really not that many games can make Xbox series X heat up properly after 2-3hrs of gameplay! (at least mine is always cool, maks is lukewarm except few heavy graphically games, then it's rly warm, but far from being scolding like ps4 after good while.
Maintenance done last year, but even then it's still jet engine, just kinda smoother and lil bit quiet and less annoying 😂 but I wanna talk with my guy in my fav shop and install new type brushless fan so it can run twice as fast but with little to zero noise (virtually)

Resident evil 4 remake caught my eye
robocop and outcast new beggniing should be in list. outcast demo out recently. good list of choice. best looking game for me battlefront 2015. somehow no game beat that. that game engine also used for nfs 2016 rainy night only game and that looks best too. neon wise look better than cyberpunk or any ray tracing game espcialy reflactions on rainy floors. forza motorsport in my opinion not look good as forza 7. track like dubai on forza 7 look better. also horizon 4 look better than horizon 5 somehow espcilay on snow.
Outcast looks OK but it looks like a 1st gen PS5 / Xbox game so no
@@Alien_isolationist it look better than stafield also you can fly everwhere. people always say no to outcast it was open world game before gta3 no one care. ı care. ı played those days to. try demo before say no. you will suprise. its not perfect stroy driven game but its impressive as world and tech. same for robocop. ı cant talk about ps5 for me battlefront games way way better than helldivers. media aslo give very low scores battlefront but they give 9 to helldivers when exlusive smilar game come.
I want Robocop but not for 60 bucks. That'll go down to 30 by black Friday. I don't like buying 7 games for the same as what I paid for my console

Facts I have these on Playstation but Xbox only has Halo, Starfield, 2 racing games & flying, with an 8 hour walk fest in May at the 3.5 year mark. Everything else is cartoons being ported to PS5 & Xbox One last Gen games.
@AlienIsolationist Indiana Jones, Hellblade 2, Stalker 2 timed exclusive and more for 2024, all coming to gamepass. There's more bang for your buck on Xbox and Sony's 1st party schedule for 2024 is empty. I'm not sure selling your XBSX now was the best idea ever...
