Hey Dave, You should have visited the Tesla distribution centre in Southampton. It’s dockside and it’s where all the nice shiny new Tesla’s come off the boat from Gigafactory Shanghai. About half a mile from where you were. You can also pick your car up from there too.

I think Kona is 102KWh charging at least in the UK. Charging is not so much of an issue in the UK because it's a small country - I looked up the "long" trips that I take a few times a year (but mostly pottering around in London) and the longest journey I ever do is under 200 miles, so I will never need to plug in on the move, personally...
Only the US Kona EV has that limitation on the DC charging, the EU/AU Kona EV charge at 103kW and as Bjorn has shown most cars don't charge across the curve much above 100kW anyway. Fastned a CPO in Europe has charge curves for many if not all EV's that have charged on their chargers. I love my Kona EV got the top spec and it even comes with a space saver spare plus has a frunk unlike the original Kona's.

We are getting KIA EV3 which similar size/spec to ID.3 so nothing to worry about as it will have way better software/UI
If I were you I would stay away from the rock climbing wall! I have always thought cruise ships are an engineering wonder, and have enjoyed every one I have been on. I hope it is a great voyage for you and Cathy.

Love all your videos Dave. Your passion for EV vehicles is awesome. I am looking to get my first EV. Looking at either a Mach-E Premium AWD with the extended battery or an IONIQ 5 Limited. I know you have owned a IONIQ 5 Limited and both you and your son have reviewed the Mach-E. I have owned Fords in the past and I currently lease a Hyundai Tucson Limited. Which EV would you recommend I get when my lease is up? Thanks in advance!
In India I saw a BYD Atto 3 on the road in the same exact color as your rental. As a Tesla Model Y owner who lives in the US, I missed seeing (and driving) Teslas but it’s interesting to see the EVs here like the BYD or MG.
