🌈 AU Explanation: In this AU demons and slayers live out in the forests and outskirts of the city while hero’s and villains live within the city. Most villains don’t bother going outside the city so most people that live in the towns outside the city don’t have a clue about the ongoing battles between hero’s and villains, however there are some odd occasions when demons go into the city looking for humans to devour and demon slayers need to be called in, so the city people are aware of there existence though most beleive them to just be rumors. Deku is born as Tanjiro and the story goes the same as the demon slayer storyline. After Nezuko becomes human again and the final battle finishes there is no need for Demon Slayers anymore. Tanjiro decides to start fresh and moves to the city to live peacefully with Nezuko and his friends, He meets a kind lady called Inko who is struggling on her own and out of the kindness in his heart Tanjiro moves in with her. After finding out about villains Tanjiro decides to join UA high school where he is granted All mights quirk and continues the journey as “Izuku Midoriya” son of Inko Midoriya as all UA students need to have a parental guirduan. Due to the school rules he is not allowed to use his sword or breathing style anymore and so everything plays out the same as it does on mha.

I HAD A THOUGHT OF HOW I WOULD VIEW MHA x KNY (with deku as tanjiro)
Bit of background:
Quirks appear in most parts of the world, but few towns don’t know a thing about quirks
Heroes, civilians, and villains (most) don’t know about demons, heroes have been trying to find the demon slayer organization since they believe that the demons are fake, and that the DS are just making up excuses
Shinobu asked Inko to take care of Tanjiro/Deku while he was attending school
OKAY, OKAY, Deku/Tanjiro grew up with his biological family, when they all died he became a demon slayer. After some time, shinobu decided that he needed education, y’know?? So he was sent to middle school/junior high! Thats when he met bakugo (the Pomeranian) and when the bullying started. Deku/Tanjiro missed a lot of school because he was still fighting at night, so he often got injured and stayed at the butterfly mansion for a while after most fights (poor guy can’t get a break from the kizuki, whatever the correct spelling is) Deku/Tanjiro was often bullied because of being quirkless, and missing school so much.
Deku/Tanjiro passed the UA entrance exam the same way as in the anime (im an anime only person) he didn’t pass out from breaking his limbs because of his breathing technique. He wasn’t using a sword, but im pretty sure breathing techniques still strengthen the user either way. Once he got into UA, having mastered total concentration breathing: constant, he was able to sort of use his quirk, even if he broke his limbs every time. Recovery girl (and all might) is the only person in UA who actually knows that he’s in the DS corps, and she’s kind of the only reason he’s been able to even attend UA, without recovery girl he would have been absent pretty much every day.
(Idk if I should write more, if anyone actually cares to read this let me know if u want more and maybe i’ll think about writing more)

Izuku, at 18 gave up on his dreams on being a pro hero and instead became a chef and a owner of a italian restaurant. and he became friends with the famous calligrapher cherry(i forgot his name lmaooo) at the age of 16 in his free time! they were best friends until izuku was too absorbed into his hero studies, so they fell apart until they met again at 20/24. the two of them always did skateboarding together and found eachother through the illegal skateboarding place called “sk8”. 1-A thought izuku went missing all those years and bakugou greived the most. not knowing izuku was alive. (i might add more to this later!)
edit: the new pro heros (bk sho ectt) were going to scout out for the villian “adam,, who does crime but is never caught. so the pro hero’s investigated ‘sk8’, only to he teens, and adults skateboarding…. then they saw both izuku/joe and cherry with reki, langa, miya and shadow. and class 1-a pro heros felt that they knew joe/izuku from his allure, but he was almost unrecognizable considering he has long hair and a tan now. but its his long green hair that stands out to them. but they’re unsure.
Is it only me or deku and tanjiros eyes look kinda alike?
Not to mention even though their English voice actors are different, they sound *TOO* similar. O_O
