- Thai street food is some of the best in the world, and here in Ao Nang is no exception. Beach Rod Ao Nang Krabi has a wonderful selection of street vendors all in one section of road between the two beaches. from Pancakes to Kebabs. this is a wonderful collection of tastes to tickle your taste buds.

I've been watching your vids non-stop the last week haha. Making me miss Thailand a lot!!! I stayed at a hostel in Ao-nang for 6 weeks, the owner said I was her longest resident. Had the most amazing time there that I didn't want to leave. Looking forward to returning to Thailand, hoping to meet the "CHANG GANG" haha!

I love those banana pancakes, Geoff. All Thai street food is so cheap. People should eat where the Thais eat you can't go wrong. But don't eat chicken or any meat from the guys with movable carts I have seen them clean their wire mesh on dustbins! Been in hospital twice with food poisoning before I found this out.

Very nice. Just a bit worried about those prawns though as they looked already cooked before you cooked them again! You must have a strong stomach. I love the street food on Kao San Road in Bangkok its great and like you say very cheap.
They just warm them up again.

Another fantastic video Geoff.I've been visiting Ao Nang for years and the chicken man has been there as long as i can remember.I eat from him all the time and his chicken is the tastiest around.Pity they don't have this in sunny Lancashire.

Hi Geoff street food is great I love the way they split the bamboo and tie it together with a piece of wire to hold it better than kfc mate ,its fresh tasty and cheap some people eat the heads as well but cant come at that. Girl outside where the girlfriend worked made those pancakes and I bloody forgot to try one oh well next time hahaha
Another great video Geoff yes I always like the street food wherever I go but I tend to keep away from the seafood because of a bad experience but it always looks fresh and tasty. Take care.

Banana pancakes with syrup :) why can't we get that food back home.. Always best to eat where the locals eat, sometimes the tourist areas aren't the best.

In all fairness im pretty sure this happens in restraurant kitchens round the world, so dont boycott the street food cuz it is really good, just be aware.

Goodness you made me hungry showing all these foods, but I am going to Thailand next month ( April 2017) so no doubt I will be going to have these street foods, thank you for the great video. I 'd visited Philippines, but there is no match for Thai street foods, you Thai street foods no matter where you go.... Power up !

geoff where is a better place to stay for a family Krabi town or Ao Nang also what is it like at christmas do they do christmas where is better place for a thai Christmas
+JC1520 when I went to Krabi I didn't see much apart from the river and streets, don't even know if it had a beach. Aonang has many family restaurants and a nice long beach. Christmas wise I don't know I have only been there in September? hope that helps.

Whenever I've had them coconut cakes it's always been in the company of a thai lady (or ladies) and they always order them at the same time they order the usual SomTam Pappaya salad, fish, BBQ chicken etc...and I can see why now. They do it that way because by the time the food is eaten they have cooled down. Not stupid these thai ladies you know.
