This is a great video! We are a team of RN and yes some of us are Certified Case Managers and I would highly recommend this specialty for RN's that want to WFH and also get a job working with Health Tech Companies.
Thank you. I want to retire in 5 yrs from bedside but want to continue working. 25 years at bedside. This gives me some ideas. Another thought I had was to do traveling nursing for 9 months.
Thank you, Sara for all this great information. I am looking for a remote nurse jobs to stay home and be with family at home. Now, it’s time to decide which one I have to pursue. Thanks
Great video! Some parts were hard to understand because you were talking so fast (I think bcuz you were so excited lol) but I’m definitely checking these out especially the nurse health coach

Hi Sara great video thank you! :) May I ask, do you plan on doing remote nursing until you retire one day? I graduated from Nursing school last year May 2020 and have been mainly doing covid jobs but I'm about to start a hospital job soon to get experience! I'm quite nervous hearing about the toxic politics in the hospital but I am hoping to get at least 2 years of experience and then re-evaluate where I'd like to go from there on out!
Honestly i am not quiet sure.. as of now i am going to continue building my business, with hopes of turning it into a full time income! Yes i think get a year or 2 of experience and go from there. I loved some of my bedside jobs! It's not all bad, and as long as you just do your job and work it will be fine!!! Good luck.. keep me updated! What kind of covid job did you have?
@@SaraBurdick Ah thanks so much for replying! I wish you lots of luck in your business! I worked a covid vaccination job and also did covid swabbing too! It was a temporary contract that lasted for a few months. To be honest I am worried if nursing won't be for me. I chose it because I like science and I like caring for people but to hear the business side of healthcare is discouraging, but I guess I will see for myself when I start working at a hospital soon!
@@zhengpan1997 that is some awesome experience you already have! Yes just see how it goes, my first year was tough. I just knew that I needed that one year of bedside to "get out" but i lasted 14 years at bedside... you never know what will happen! Sometimes you get a great team and manager, and it all aligns! I hope that is what happens for you.. but keep following here and I will try to post more tips and tricks or if you have specific questions let me know! i am happy to help.

I just graduated my lvn program here in CA and I am going to try to get a remote position as a case manager or utilization review. I know it may be difficult and the odds are against me as a new grad with no experience, (although i do almost have a bachelors in pub health) I am still determined to land a role in hope that someone out there is willing to take a chance on me and offering me a position to grow. If anybdoy has any recommendations for me as far as companies hiring for these roles or any tips for applying, please let me know. Wish me luck.
