한국인 입니다. 좋은 영상 감사합니다.
This is amazing! I'm south korean and it feels like looking through my grandmother's photo albums, but come to life... thank you for sharing this precious piece of your memories!
5:01 Wow Busan Station.... I was born in Busan in 1998 and have lived all this time. still the same now. Love Busan
People born after 1990 don't know anything about the life in the past, yet they think they it know all.
Thank you for making us remember times that always will be golden.
You are so true. I feel sad for generation zero
Maybe it's for the better? We don't want to pass that kind of hardships to the next generation. No one should forget the past though, it's important to get perspectives.
My mother was only 13 when this was shot. What a peculiar feeling watching the images of her childhood.
Just amazing. It's such a valuable resource. To our surprise, Gyeongju is still preserved just like this video in 2022, 52 years later.
my girlfriend was born in south korea but doesn’t remember her origins. sadly, her mother had to give her away as an infant as she couldn’t afford to take care of her. soon after, she was adopted by an american family and raised in the US from a very young age. she has dreams of one day visiting her country of birth and maybe even finding her mother. she’s put a lot of time studying south korean culture and videos like these offer a lot of insight into a world that her mother likely was a part of. thank you for sharing.
That's why I'm here too lol!
What a wonderful video Sir Michael .thank you
"Long time no see! 😁✌️"
Ik was hier in 2016. Mooi om hier beelden van te zien uit de jaren 70.
I’m enjoying your channel so much!
건강하시죠?
제가 태어나기 훨씬 전 한국의 모습이군요 경주 불국사는 그때나 지금이나 여전히 아름다운 사찰 인듯 합니다
늘 감사합니다 !
Heer Rogge het doet me deugd om te zien dat u nog steeds actief bent op RUclips Chapo altijd even mooie video’s klasse dank u🙏🙏🙏
I'm not sure if the entire video is from the city of Kyeongju, but if so, the family were probably on a trip to the famous burial sites of that city. I went there in 2006, so it's interesting to see the same historical sites almost unchanged! I would think the diplomat's family lived in Seoul...
You are a living time machine!
Beautiful. Thanks again Michael!
Thank heavens for you Michael and thank heavens for RUclips. Thanks for your wonderful films.

When you have done everything for yourself in this life, when all young man goals are reached, then you will start thinking what will be left after you on Earth. It means you are matured now.
Impressive how nice everything looks, considering the destruction less than 20 years before! Here's even a bit pre-K-pop.
Hello mr michael i have tried to msg u about doing a video about hong kong now and before…
The Park Chung Hee era. Korea at that time was recoverying.
The title of the intro music:
"Atmospheric Ambient Gamelan"
Well, at least this part (1:20) is in Gyeongju.
*Looks like a boring place compared to Japan or Hong Kong.*
What makes Japan or HK not boring for you?
