What happened with them is exactly what happened with H.O.T, the 1st Kpop gen of SM.
Almost happened to Shinhwa as well but they all agreed to leave SM together in their prime time to get better opportunities, which led them to build Shinhwa Company around 2012. Unfortunately, build a management company is not easy so they’re not completely active since the leader and CEO Eric Mun got married.
Suju learnt from Shinhwa so they built SJ Label under SM. So when it didn’t go big, they are still safe.
I think Hangeng also was inspired by JYJ, and he successfully made it big in China that time as well.

It's sad whenever I think of a sm group the first thing that comes in my mind is 'if only sm had took proper care of their artists, these talented people would've had a great breakthrough in the industry' like most of their groups reached that peak and were in their prime and now all they required was one push, just one proper push enough to have their future settled yet sm failed to provide that. The fact that we got one law suit last year itself speaks a lot. It's truly sickening to know the power of money and pride changes nothing

I support them in their own way but, sometimes when I miss ot5, I go back to watching music videos and live stages when they were still five.

This video doesn’t say the half of it. They were badly mistreated and they weren’t getting payed enough for all the work they had put in. They sold plenty albums and the company was keeping very large percentage. It was very sad. I remember when it was on going. Changmin truly loved them but he was over ruled by his father’s decision for him to stay with SM and keep quiet. Remember he was young. And his father was convinced by SM.

If they listened to those two sell outs then these new K-pop artists would’ve got screwed over so bad by these companies. Slave contracts probably would’ve caused more offing than people think.

To this day I refuse to listen to the new TVXQ. I would always support them as a 5 member group not 2.

I understand how you feel, but isn’t it good to also support Yun Ho and Chang Min, even though in many of Cassiopeia’s heart, TVXQ! is always 5 (include mine) 😮😢

Face the facts. This is the outcome. It’s not so hard, idk why some people are blind 😂 I respect their decision.

JYJ & CJes vs SM feels more like about materials, protocol and work ethics.
JaejoongYoochunJunsu vs YoonhoChangmin feels more like trust, communication, and respect.
No one innocent here and the crazy fans just make it worse. JYJ was so impulsive with everything is going on in media and sns while the duo were so cold and firm with their decision, "We were told you.. We were asking you.."
Admit it or not, they are betraying each other. They've been broke the their own trust towards each other. Obviously the third party is the one who's enjoying the war. A lot of lies and rumors that makes it hard for them to trust again. JYJ get a lot of offers with a huge deal of money and materials but personally I can't see peace on their face though a lot of high profile people help them to win against SM. I think it because at the end of the day their actions hurt the TVXQ names itself. Hurt the names then it means hurt their old friends, Yoonho and Changmin. Then the silent treatment from Yoonho and Changmin be like, "I would never forget the past but we're done. It's over." I found it Jaejoong was like face the reality during the military. I think he thought that meeting could be a good sign to get back as friend but it's not like that. He's body suddenly different after the discharged. I believe Yoonho didn't give the reaction like he wants. And Changmin is the one who looks like don't think to give any chance to get back. It's not about jealousy. In any relationship especially with work and job in between sometimes it's broken just because of perception and emotion. I think Yoonho and Changmin are the type to thinking rational and stay calm while JaejoongYoochunJunsu looks like a bit in a rush and impulsive. Rather than rebellious, I think JYJ was more like stubborn about freedom, especially Yoochunand Junsu be like the boss of themselves. Among JYJ members, personally I think Jaejoongie looks like hemm I don't know how to describe him. He looks so sad and full of regrets. Too much pain on his face and tears. As people who is following them, I am a bit understand because literally Jaejoongie had such a emotional connection with Yoonho and Changmin. Through his documentary and a lot of his songs and performances, I can tell that at some point Jaejoongie knowing the reality that a lot of new people around him just use them then hurt him. I can see a lot of people admire JYJ because of their money and property. They can't trust those kind of people. Just look at how lonely their lives compare to the duo, especially Changmin. I think the military really change Jaejoong's perspective about life, money, and friendship. He becomes much more low profile than what he's doing as JYJ. Lately, I'm happy to see Jaejoong being happy and not trying too hard for being manly or adult like before. It's more like I see the old Jaejoong with his innocent and playful. I am happy to get to know that right now he has a reason to still alive and working with happiness. Just like Minwoo oppa was said that it looks like there are adoring people around him that makes him looks so fresh and colorful. We all know how dark Jaejoong during JYJ and solo era before the enlistment. I wish the time will gives them another chances to sit and talk. I am not asking for them back together to perform together on stages anymore. I prefer to asking them to clear up the gap between then and gives all of the an unanswered questions for the both sides. It's not have to them. Even if someone else could be the helper then it's okay and it's good as long as it helps to reduce the amount of misunderstanding. At least, for Jaejoong he need someone who has the similarities with the duo. It could be similar situation and/or similar mindset with the duo. And he need someone who is the closest person in a terms of work with Yoonho but also still reachable to Jaejoong to contact her/him without burden. He should create that chances and probability because obviously the duo looks like will never do that. Jaejoong need the answer to live in peace though he looks happier than before. Mentally, he still need that damn answer because it's his personality. If you are following the grouo since debut we all know how Jaejoongie to react and did at his daily basis. The easiest to figure it out, he's like our mom who wants to know everything for details. If not, she will ask you and the never ending questions saga. Wkwkkk..

Hi, i hope you don't mind having discussion about TVXQ 3vs2 scandal theory
I personally think that TVXQ were offered more money, better contracts & some soloist projects from other companies. There were rumors back then that rival companies were trying to buy them out from SM.
If anyone knew about the members at all, fans should know that Yunho actually only audition & wanted to be in SM. When he passed, he & the other members were grateful for the company.
Now, amongst the members, Yunho has always been deemed the most loyal & faithful. Him honoring the terms of SM's contract which he, his parents & lawyer were present to sign is him agreeing to fulfill his role in it.
Fans supported Junsu since his parents owned businesses before, so when they claimed SM's contact was unlawful & unethical they took their sides. Not going to argue about that since them being a group that was projected to focus in Japan as well made it kind of complicated since long promotions & longevity should be taken in consideration. A long term contract would technically make sense.
I'm only focusing on these 2 members for the split since it was a known fact that Junsu was the person who persuaded Jaejoong first to join him in the suit. After JJ agreed, he roped in Yoochun to join them which was how we got the 3vs2 split.
Now i don't know why the other 2 weren't invited to join in the beaking away free from SM but my personal theory is that they knew Yunho wouldn't join them since us fans as well knew that he always wanted to be in SM lol. His stance has always been that he has no personal issues w/ the company & if the members did, they should discuss their complains w/ the managers/CEOs themselves. Them ended up suing and serving their lawsuit against SM shocked him.
I must admit i am rather surprised that Changmin stayed w/ Yunho. Watching past video contents, i thought that he seemed to get along more w/ Yoochun? After him, maybe Jaejoong? Then again, maybe he decided to stay w/ SM the company he didn't have issue w/ same as Yunho. I mean us fans learnt the fact that they got different contracts made since they signed them w/ just their families & lawyers in the room made in accordance w/ the family wanting certain changes etc.
Anyway that is my theory especially after the 50/50 scandal. Same thing happening someone trying to take them away from their contracted company who has the main rights.

You are one of the few people to sound logical and not one-sided like many of us. Even me but I thought you comment gave me another perspective which I am happy I read. I was always a Yunho and Changmin fan so that’s why I lean more towards the duo. I especially hate those that hate facts that they will never be 5 and keeping hopeless faith. They are adults and they made their decisions. I respect them for standing for what they believe.

@@lingazer6774i think because of changmin's mom. In one interview changmin's mention his mom once said you will never find another family like yunho. Even though they have different lifestyle he always feel grateful to yunho. He love yunho like his own family.
