Just picked up a pro comp and decided to sell it right after doing my usual 200 break-in on it. Loved the grip and small details that Springfield gives you, BUT… The comp is a purely a placebo and when testing my 43x vs the hellcat I noticed no difference in recoil really. I did notice that the hellcat is louder. Good grouping even after barrel heated up, very consistent. The thing that made me sell it is the fact that when I was done shooting the bottom part of the frame started separating and I could clearly see the gap got bigger between the slide and frame in front of the gun. In no way this affected the gun’s functionality but it really bothered me. At the end of the day these guns aren’t meant to be shot so many times at once, and some people may not even experience this during their ownership. After the gun cooled off and I cleaned it, the polymer piece came back to where it was originally. And the last con worth mentioning is that it is a nightmare to clean the port on the barrel/slide. After 200 rounds it was really dirty!
If you're summer gun is the Hellcat Pro, and your winter gun is an XD in 9mm, why not just carry the HCP all year? It's a 15 round flush 9mm, w/17 round extended mags. What is the XD giving you that improves on that?
@@bbmw90299mm doesn't "bounce" off of anything short of 1/8 inch of steel. What type of fudd boomer lore is that. 9mm hps like federal hst penetrate 6 layers of denim and penetrate over 12 inches and expand reliably every time. They're not going to be deflected by a measly coat let alone bounce off lmfao
Palmetto State has the Pro Comp in stock still for a lot cheaper than the other online dealers at the moment. Picked mine up today for almost a Benjamin cheaper than the big online stores.
Just picked up the pro comp and have put 300 rounds through it. I was shooting at 15 yards and my groups looked similar to yours. The trigger is heavy and took some getting use to. The gun is reliable and I had no failures so far. I want to like this gun, but it's not as accurate as my Canik SC so I'll need to shoot it some more and see how it goes...
Nice video and thanks for the content, I will jist say all the gun stores near me have a lot of used Hellcats, but very rarely any used X-Macros or G43x 's. Beside my own judgments, that says a lot. Thanks again
I bought the Hellcat Pro last year, then the Taurus GX4 Carry 3 months ago that I must admit fit my hand better. They ought to make ported versions of both.
Does the frame flex easily at the front end of the barrel? Where the weapon light can be attached. Mine does and also the slide can be pressed side to side easily…
👍👍.... look at this shill acting like Springfield come up with their own idea and design. And didn't copy something else again for another manufacturer......😂😂😂. Not going to name names. 😂😂😂.
I felt the same way you do comparing the 365 x macro to the Hellcat pro comp at first. In all honesty I personally don’t care for the triggers on either one coming from carrying a CZ for years but that’s not really fare to the Sig or Springfield. I’ll be honest, after shooting the hellcat pro comp enough to get use to the trigger it was a much better shooter across the board than the x macro for me personally whatever that’s worth. They’re both great guns that will shoot anything you want it to without any issues but, if I had to choose one or the other I’d definitely go with the Pro Comp and possibly throw in a Apex trigger or whatever trigger improves the Hellcat the most.

I shot this gun back and forth between the pro and the pro comp.. its much better

I might.. I really like it
@@SMASHTIME Either that, or upgrade to the 10mm XD 3.8" for winder. The 10mm will go thought winter coats a 9mm will just bounce off of.
@@bbmw9029bounce off lol what
@@strangemayc We all know 9mm will just bounce off any winter coat. That's why people have separate winter and summer guns👍

Nice!.. you will love it
I picked one up yesterday and ran 270 rounds thru it love it the trigger being heavy is throwing me off a bit but that can be fixed 😉
TRUE.. if the trigger was about 3 lbs this pistol would be legit
@@SMASHTIME i ordered a Mcarbo trigger for mine gonna try that first says it should drop it to 5ish
Best HCP comp vs HCP video yet. Thanks!!!
Thank you so much. I really appreciate it
SMASH, have you shot the new SW Carry Comp? How does it compare to the HC Pro Comp?? 😮😮😮😮😮😮

I just picked the hellcat pro up myself, love it, but yes not as accurate as my canik tp9sfx
You guys are probably use to those beautiful canik trigger pulls !

Carried my standard Hellcat for quite a while until the sct43sc frame came out… now I wanna hit the range with my hellcat… havent shot it in a while.
This one is a game changer. Im stunned
Definitely can’t wait to get my hands on one

I’ve heard good things about the gx4
My p365 micro has noticible less felt recoil.
Yeah, but the Hellcat is way more reliable.
Chunk ports work 😊
Ports work in general.
Is the slide interchangeable between this pro comp and original hellcat(non pro) frame?
Yes
Great video as always bro
Hellcat pro comp or wait for the shadow systems cr920xp?
Pro Comp... hands down
If you consider price… you can get the hellcat pro comp and 1000 or more rounds of ammo for what the cr920xp is going to cost
Just hold on to the wallet! But it's another Hellcat Pro bro! Collect them all.
Sup Honda. man this one is sweeet. you need it
@@SMASHTIME was saving up for a Prodigy... But this might be first.
Good review
Thank you buddy. I hope all is well up in MI

Mine does the same thing on the frame with a light attached it flexes.
🤔 annoys me. Want it to be SOLID!
hmm.. Ill check but it seems super solid
👍🏻👍🏻
wow what a difference
sweeeet
If you practice, it will you a better shooter no matter what gun you use. Gun makers change models to make sales and keep you wanting more.

Admitted bias. It's a sweet gun
@SMASHTIME .... it does look like a good pistol. You know I just at to 👉 poke ya a little.🤏 It's ok to be biased....
I
If you’re talking about the sig the Ported one, its only a 3.1 barrel and isn’t cut so at least Springfield gave you more for less
Nope! I’ve seen the sig p365 x macro is a better shooter seen on RUclips already plus I love my sig anyways
Love my P365 AXG Legion…it will be my edc for years to come. It’s a great smaller brother to my P320 AXG Scorpion 🦂
just compared it... not looking good for the sig.
It’s a matter of preference..buy and shoot what you prefer…they both are reliable platforms
