I havent seen a lesson broken down in such detail and phrasing it in boxes was extremely helpful. That obviously makes it a lot easier to attain the solo, and accurately as well. Well done! Thank you!
Beautiful solo !! Im 50, grew up hearing these amazing solos. The million dollar question is what would one need to know and understand to invent this solo ?
This is Scotti Hills best solo. Dig the pinch harmonics n whammy bar dips. What can I say that I haven't already said. You Rock Bro! I see you added to your channels name 👍🤘⚡️🤘🎸Rock the Weekend Greek style anyone fir some Souvlakis or Gyros 🌮LOL
Ahhh yes, we had Greek food a week ago bro. Crete food to be more specific... at least that is what the menu said. I ended up having Arni Me Filo which was lamb in filo dough with feta. Mmmm :)
Hi everyone! Next video will be a super classic solo from the beginning of the '80s, certain to bring the schoolboy out of everyone. ;)

How many people started singing the lyrics after your lead. I did, every time. Awesome Dave.
Exactly! Thanks bro! :)
That was killer dude .. glad to see you still killing it after all these years
This solo is definitely in the top 10 greatest and memorable solos of the 80’s 🤘🏻 great video

Thanks John! Yeah, some of the note choices are kind of normal and others are interesting :)
It's like making a guitar cry and even wail a little.
Another awesome video and lesson, thank you for all that you do.
Thanks! :)
Awesome. I always wondered what that over hand reach move was really doing 😁
:)
Yes! Those opening notes have a swing that almost no one gets. You got it!
Sorry to get on this so late but I had to say, dude I have always loved that snakeskin guitar. Wow!
Great work as usual! Definitely takes me back to 8th/9th grade and MTV days... that daily countdown thing they used to do.
I'd love to see a video of your guitar collection!
I did last year, but it has actually changed quite a bit (some sold, some bought). I will do another maybe in the next few months :)
What kind of guitar? Sweet! Great lesson as usual
Thanks bro! It's the Warren DeMartini signature model (US built version) from Charvel. :)
I love it! Can't wait for Youth Gone Wild! 😜
I will add it to very long list :)
nice!!! I was learning this song right when you published it. Thanks for sharing!

Scotti Hill played the solo.
@@djay6651 You're absolutely correct. Just fixed my comment. My bad.

@@PDXguitarfreak Nice! ☺️
Very good.
Thanks! :)
I live in Portland do you teach in person?
Hi Julio, I don’t do individual lessons. Unfortunately I don’t have the bandwidth.
@@PDXguitarfreak no worries, love the videos! 👍🏽
Epic!
Thanks Ryan! Rock on! :)

👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks Oliver! :)
so much for beginner solos...
LOL this one is 75% beginner :)
👍👏👏👏👏👍🇵🇭
I play it just fine not using the "trick" . I believe it is just for show.
You two even wearing the same shirt
No offense….
But Scotti did a Solo Lesson video 4 years ago.
No offense taken. I think my lesson goes a step further though, including reference to each note both verbally and in tab :)
I always thought that last note was a slide down, not a bar dive.
👍👍👍👏👏👏🙏🇵🇭
