I have been watching this at least four times a week for about a month and enjoy it every time! This version is as good as any and it just never gets old. I sincerely hope that Eumir Deodato himself has heard this. It might make him smile but I imagine he would find great satisfaction in knowing his music continues to transcend generations

To be honest, Deodato might not be as famous here in America as he should be (or at least I think). I imagine he is iconic in Europe and his native Brazil. He is certainly treasured and highly respected among musical luminaries. Super Strut and the entire Deodato 2 album features several prominent jazz musicians who have been very much in demand throughout their careers.
