I had a carpet rip on me earlier, creating a hole about the size of a quarter. I didn't have any spare carpet to use, so what I did was cut away at the strands of Berber that were ripped up, and carefully wrapped them around 3 separate twist ties. I then placed each twist tie underneath the hole in the carpet and fooled around with the loose Berber until it was even along the wire. The hole has been been filled with three twist ties. Now, this spot can probably never be vacuumed but it it does rip up again, I'll simply take the twist ties out and re-wrap some loose Berber and insert then under the carpet again.
Even though it s bit drawn out, the info given is pretty good. However, the real problem is that this is the first part of a three part series - the other two will cost you $25!!! This part is on how to remove the loose threads; the parts you have to pay for is on how to complete the prep of the site and then how to complete the repair.
I have berber carpet and I have had it for about 10 years and I have had 6 cats and they like needing on the carpet. Well the carpet in my hall way is so bad that it has a 2 inch wide and 5 feet long of bare carpet. Very difficult to vacuum because the carpet loops get stuck in the vacuum.
well that was just stupid. He's dressed as a carpet doctor, is he??? and he didn't even complete the job and show the repair at all. He just showed how to pull more thread out and make a bigger hole.
Where is the rest of the video???? You instruct people to cut the fiber out of the carpeting an then you never finish the instructions on how to complete the repair. Wow this guy should never be allowed to post anything.
Don't have a loop pile carpet anything! I'm forever telling customers not to bother. They've usually got small children and giant earth moving pets that make it totally impractical. I've seen customers pull loops putting their furniture back into the room. Loop piles suck everyone stop buying the stuff please! I'm totally sick of repairing it and looking at it. Ok I'm calm now, rant over.
I've been waiting the whole video for you to use the stethoscope!

Wouldn’t carefully re poking the loose strands back in work while also adding a tinny dab of super glue in the hole to help it say ?

My wife’s dog ripped up the carpet. Gonna lose our security deposit most likely
STOP the sell and buying of these defective carpets to begin with. This is garbage and no one should be wasting their money on it.
So, I guess the guy died and never got to post that other video? Ughhhhhhhh
Way to slow, to much talking.
