After seeing how you do your prep work and installs, I somehow think that we're being ripped off big time with the quality of work here in Canada. I don't think I've ever seen anyone hand plane the edges before installing those boards here and I'm talking about building those 3-5M houses. Absolutely love your work.

I love that you gang up multiple peices to cut at once as often as possible. I can only imagine how satisfyingly smooth the cut ends of a stack of those boards are.

Fantastic job, I very much respect your skill and your work ethic. The quality of the lumber you work with is exceptional as well. Thanks for the video.

You do the work alone that it would take many workers here to do, and you do it better.

"Waterproof" tape is basically a vapor barrier but the precision used here is very good.

Is it true that in Japan, a carpenter must first pass a test as a Gymnast?

The other day I saw a guy built a house here in USA, it was all used nails and metal plates hanging the joist. It was totally unwatchable after seeing how's it's done in Japan.

Hi its me again, is there any way you can make a list of the best sizes of Japanese chisels to buy, for someone that is starting out in doing DIY, plus a starting out set of planes and maybe a link to where to buy good Japanese woodworking tools at a fair price either online or maybe by calling, unfortunately I do not speak Japanese just a few European languages. I’m a 100% disabled veteran and need to be able to work from my wheelchair plus money is always tight but I do want good tools so I will buy a few items at a time as I have the money. Thank you for any help that you can give me

What are those pieces of wood on the side of your circular saw guide used for? I have bought one recently and I am curious as to how it would be helpful :)
