A fairly short one in comparison to my recent flight videos. The flight was very early and my tiredness reflected in the amount of footage recorded on the day. Due to the dense fog, funnily enough at Gatwick and no Mallorca, this flight was delayed at the gate for an hour and fifteen minutes, so as you can imagine, there were a lot of grumpy and tired passengers.
Eventually, our slot became available, as the sun began to rise. That allowed for a stunning departure, with regards to the very low cloud base lingering over the airport. The light certainly brought out the orange colours of the engine too.
The conditions in Gatwick were still rather poor with low visibility. With this, it was decided that we would perform an auto-land for runway 26L at Gatwick. It's pretty crazy to think that all of the motions leading up to the roll-out off of the runway are completely controlled by computer! It was a firm, but a decent firm landing on to the tarmac.
The delay was out of easyJet's control, for that reason, there was nothing really to complain about, it was just a typical easyJet flight with some interesting views and scenarios.
