As a Bama fan, I was already thinking that I’ll probably skip the game next year, and just listen to his press conference.
I could save lots of time that way. I would still know everything that happened in the game, but it would only take like 2 minutes of my time to find out all about it.
I had thought about possibly trying to find a written transcript of Jimbo’s summary, instead, but it would probably take me over 20 minutes to read it, or to have someone else read it to me.
I think it would be best to just listen to Jimbo tell it, because no one else I know of has the ability to talk as fast as he does.
He summarizes a game like he understands that my time is important, but that I also like to know all the details of what happened in the game.
The way he goes over the game makes me feel like he wants to waste as little of my time as possible, while still explaining every singe play.
He does a truly amazing job with his speed summaries. He gives them in a way that’s both informative and courteous, and I really appreciate that about him. He is the finest speed talker I’ve ever known.

Jimbo called a good game. Bama just did what the coaches asked them to do at Halftime. That was the best half Tommy Rees called all year. Made adjustments to our pass game and stopped the pressure from A&M. Proud of Bama!

The early no call PI on the Burton pass was Horrendous. Easy call they didn't flag. 2 drives later they Flag Alabama for PI when the guy just fell down. Then the insane Blindside block penalty call on the block FG return. Alabama easily wins this game by 17 if the refs weren't helping TAMU.

Coach Saban doesn't run from anyone. He was kind asking about your family and complimented your play. Let it go. A&M is a good team, good defense. We played them, the refs and made it hard on ourselves at times and won. We made some great plays as well. Just need to keep improving every day. Roll Coach Saban! Roll Tide!

He failed to mention the touchdown we made on the blocked kick that was called back on a questionable call that would have sealed the game for Bama.
Jimbo on the block field goal the refs held Bama. It should have been 31-17.
That makes the 6th TD called back this year, expect more.
As a Bama fan and alumni Texas A&M has nothing to be ashamed of and I’m happy the two coaches didn’t trash each other. A&M is always a formidable opponent. Roll Tide!

The refs did their part, jimbo.
There are 5 keys of A&M LOSS:
1) Nick knew how to adjust after first half. He called short play to get Jalen in sync to build his confident and Offense line to protect QB having more time to search the field. Fisher did not know what to adjust. He does not know what to do so keep calling RB run and QB run too. That is different between great coach and good coach.
2) Before first half end, Fisher has 42 second and 2 times out. He saw score A&M and Bama 17-10 and he ran out clock. He did not realize that he was vs BAMA, not Tulane or Sam Houston. He as paid 90 M to give up quick quit.
3) Bama RB was on the right of QB and Cooper blitz from left resulting QB got sack. A&M DB blitz from on the right side, RB blocked resulting WR Bama Burton get touchdown.
4) A&M DB Josh Deberry cannot cover Burton but NO adjust to help him and Bama kept throwing to Burton to get record of receiving yard in one game.
5) Bama had short throw. WR ran 7 yards and cut right to get open or WR ran 10 yards, stop and ran back 3 yards resulting first down. Fisher does not have short passing yard. A&M strength is WR and Defense line. He does not have any short pass or slant to his WR. He let his WR ran wild hoping they got open and Max would find them. Resulting too much time and Max got sack.
Aggie should fire Fisher since he is an Okay coach, not even a good coach.

I'm not sure how A&M wasn't ranked going into the game. They should still be somewhere around 15. Can you imagine if a coach like Deion Sanders had that talent on offense and defense? Jimbo should thank his agent daily. He definitely got the better end of that deal with A&M. A&M has the talent, fanbase, stadium, the money to make a great coaching hire, almost everything needed to be a top 5 team. If I was the AD, I'd go after an elite coaching hire. Otherwise nothing is going to change.

You are right. He got very lucky with Jameis Winston and won a championship at FSU. TAM paid him Saban money and I think they know it was a big mistake. He is a great recruiter, but is not a great coach. I have read that his contract has a very expensive buyout clause. That might be why TAM does not fire him. That win vs Bama 2 years ago was huge for him and TAM.
