One thing I like about your channel is that you actually TEACH valuable, informative lessons... Instead of just showing people how to play licks... Great lesson.
By far the most informative bass videos on youtube to date. You have really helped my bass understanding elevate. Thank you for the wonderful videos you are providing. I will be supporting your channel and purchasing your ebooks. I wish you great success. Thanks again.
Thanks so much for the support and kind words! Much appreciated :) Cheers
You are a great teacher.
Great lesson. Thanks, Anthony.
Another great lesson!
This was a great lesson. The last few minutes discussing the subs and how they fall into the diminished concept was very cool. GDS was a good example too. Thank You.
Anthony- I’m new to your channel, and I love your vids- watching this one for the first time-Small note, although this is not intended to serve as a criticism ( rather a reminder )-
Your C fully diminished 7 spelling listed enharmonic tone names, rather than the ( rather pain in the neck to have to think about ) actual assigned tone names according to third based harmony-
I’m sure for you this was simply an oversight-
For anyone wondering what I’m saying:
Seventh chord spelling starting from C:
C-E-G-B maj7 ( obviously )
C-E-G-Bb dominant 7
C-Eb-G-Bb min7
C-Eb-Gb-Bb- half diminished7 (min7b5)
( one half step away from a fully dim 7 here...)
C-Eb-Gb-Bbb- diminished 7
Now, if F# was the root, totally correct...
Nonetheless, I predict you are soon to become one of the most popular music instructors ( with bass as your primary instrument ) around.
I’m hipping anyone I know to your stuff-
Rock on!
hey Jason! Thanks for the comment. To be honest with you, my theory can be pretty shite at times and I don't cross check or correct any mistakes I make ( which is good and bad. ) I appreciate you pointing out the error. Thanks for your support!
Anthony Muthurajah - your theory is fine, your chops are awesome, and your informal, face to face way of relating these concepts is very refreshing - it’s like doing a hang.
Please let us know if we can hear or see you playing with anyone, or when you have original music available -
P.S.- your tone is killer!
You’re dope bro!Thanks for sharing!👊🏽

Hello bro,I like your lesson but the matter you use much speed,I am kindly requesting if it's possible to go slow down and break it down with no speed because it's helpful to me,you can re-instruct again.
Thanks
U are knowledgeable and a good teacher. But loosen up a little. Teaching, learning and playing music should be fun. Smile more 😊
