Mini 2 SE drone is the best to start with hands down. Not expensive compared to other options and has such good features/quality. God imagine using a drone that doesn’t have hovering, rth, and a million more things dji has.

Haha yes! I was definitely mindful here. I’m not sure if the mavic would even let me get near it with obstacle avoidance but either way those propellers are not to be messed with!
I have pushed ontop of my Mav3 many times. It does require a good bit of force to push it more than 5cm down (when attitude correction kicks in). My mavic 3 can also carry 900 grams easily with only about 35% battery time loss. I am currently modifying a M3C for a friend to hold 2 batteries and carry a 760gr load for a custom project.
What the main difference between the 2 and 2 SE apart from the camera quality?? As someone new to this I'm worried about not having Andy sensors on either.

Hey! Checkout my return home challenge video. The drone does a great job of landing near the vicinity of where it took off but not perfect. However given the price point still very impressive!
I’m sure they will help to reduce the noise. Keep in mind I recorded inside to hear the sounds, so normally outside these drones are much quieter. So may not need the stealth props until you do some test flights. Cheers!
Hey! Yes the mini 2 se had gps (return home feature as well) it also uses a strong RC connection for controls which is better than Wi-Fi. I don’t believe the drone uses Wi-Fi for anything however.
1st gen of DJI mini and DJI mini se use Enhanced WiFi. Eliminated by DJI already. Any new version of DJI drones you can get now are all come with OCUSYNC 3.0 or later transmission.
Hi there! I’d say it is worth upgrading. The latest transmission system is much better than the original. You will have a smoother connection and be able to fly farther 👍
Just got the mini 2 SE, I am impressed with the video and picture quality for only being 2.7k and 12mp. I had a 4k autel before and while the video and pictures may have been marginally better it wasn't enough to justify paying nearly 4x the price. For a non professional hobbiest like myself I can't ever see needing anything more than the mini 2 or maybe the mini 3 if I decide to upgrade down the road.
It has Omni-obstacle avoidance. So it senses all the walls/floor in room and is basically like “shit I can’t go in any directions so I’ll stay put. The smaller drone only has sensors on the bottom
Hey there! It depends on your drone but for the most part yes. You should register your drone online with the FAA if it weighs more than .5 lbs Only takes a few minutes and you will need to find the drones serial number, which is often found in box or inside drone when battery is pulled out. Hope this helps!
Best way to land in hand is to go very slow and allow the drone to come to you. Pretend you’re just a solid object for it to slowly decent on. Your flat hand is all it needs to land. Hope this he,ps!
I disagree! They are such trustworthy drones from both a safety and photography perspective. Because of this you can make some serious money with DJI drones
I had no idea about these being used in the war until I aw a post on it. And unfortunately these drones don’t make much of a sound once there 20-30 ft away
