With a SPV company, how do they securitize assets so that they can collect money from investors and transfer it to the parent company?

very well explained sir! have a question. what happens with spv at the end of its tenure, like in L&T example the life of the spv was 20 years. so after 20 years does the profit earned by the spv gets transferred to the originator?

Regarding your query. Once spv's business is complete than it goes into liquidation just like any other firm. Final balancesheet is prepared, assets auctioned, money paid for legal and auction process and anything left is distributed to its investors

That's a really great suggestion. Micheal bury purchased CDS from his hedge fund money. Essentially it meant he was short on the housing market so he would earn if MBS fails on otherhand if mortgages didn't fail then Bury will lose all the money. You can watch a movie called 'Big short' it's a wonderful movie around the same concept

Thanks for writing. Each country has their own legal system. Best to hire a legal advisor who is expert on srilanka laws. In general you would first need to setup an entity in that country and then only you would be able to open spv.
