In Miami, before metal roofs or metal roofing were even contemplated by homeowners, this home had one tile roof - about 1600 square feet. Now there are nine others. One is an addition behind the original which also had concrete roof tile. We were asked to replace those roofs with metal and also replace the four flat roofs which directly tied into them. They would worry about the four other flats later. Great!! We did all the flat roofs first with an 1 1/2" insulated GAF Ruberoid low slope system and installed an Englert 1101 Galvalume mill-grade metal roof system on the two sloped roofs.
