Yay thanks!! Ren recs - I’d suggest Ocean (also with Eden Nash). From his new album a fun one could be Uninvited! Also I think Life is Funny is just an under-reacted to song 😅 I always appreciate your energy, thanks again! Glad to have caught this in between meetings working from home lol :)
Your face on the "four leaf clover" seems spot on...lol. I can picture Ren doing it too! I recommend Ocean by Ren feat. Eden Nash as well, and Heretic by Ren. Both are fantastic!
Great reaction! Yeah, It wasn't until my mid 30's that I had my first panic attack and was diagnosed with GAD(general anxiety disorder, which I'm sure u know) It humbled me, but it also went another direction other than the two you mentioned, that I never saw coming. I retired a little early due to ptsd, but I was a career firefighter/paramedic, and before my 30s, whenever I was on the box(ambulance) and we had a "psyche call", it was usually 1 of 3 things, someone off meds having an episode, homeless or downtrodden person the police couldn't charge or know what to do with (which was fine with me, I knew I'd treat them better) or some sort of panic attack. Well I always treated my patients with respect and gave them proper care, but in my head, when dealing with a panic attack, I often thought, come on now, we were just at your house, you live in at least a 500k home, with 100k car sitting in the driveway, what are you depressed or anxious about, or it would be a teen and I'd be thinking, here we go....D R A M A, again never said anything, but I'm sure in some way they could tell, or it showed. After a couple bad panic attacks, getting a therapist and getting a handle on what triggers them and ways to cope, I felt sooooo bad about the way I looked at those patients. And every time we had one of those calls after that, even if it was my turn to drive (which is easier than patient care) I would be like yo, let me take this one. And I would often say to them once we were in the ambulance and on our way... "Man, I remember my first panic attack, it knocked me on my ass, I didn't know what to do". Since so many have family members that don't get it or don't believe them, they immediately would have a look of relief on their face, as if to say..."OMG, finally!! Someone isn't looking at me like I'm making shit up", Most times they would relax after that, and we'd just chat until the hospital, where I'd take a final set of vitals, and almost always, they were back to normal and the patient would say..."Hey, I didn't even notice since we were talking, but my anxiety/panic isn't near as bad" Sorry that was so long, but I couldn't figure out a way to make my point without including that story, which is, it made me a better paramedic, because I applied that "put yourself in their shoes" attitude to other things I was treating people for, that I never had gone through, but had realized, you never know how much people are suffering, so just treat everyone with empathy and kindness, and I literally saw a tangible difference my skills and attitude as a medic and I'd like to think it made me a better person. Ok, I'll quit rambling now, again great reaction!! ✌️💚
I had a whole comment typed up but RUclips removed it. Annoying. But I was saying, thank you for these words. Jeez, you've been through a lot. And I just think, look at you now. Excelling. A beautiful mind. I really appreciate you typing this out for all of us to read. And you weren't rambling, it was important and I'm glad you did it. Thanks for enjoying the video and tuning in!
I am so excited to see what you think of this one! it was my most listened to song on YT this year lol I know you probably have a list a mile long of ren songs to do, so I won't add to it. I did want to see if you would maybe check out Evanescence-Broken Pieces Shine. it's a banger and one of their most powerful. much love
Ren has a few tracks in more classic show-off style where the lyrics are about his skills as a rapper. "Murderer" and "The Hunger" come to mind. However "Animal Flow" has a beast of a flow and bassline that bounces all over my brain.
3:04 Go easy on yourself. I’ve found when I’m deep in the middle of my own health shit I sometimes just don’t have the emotional bandwidth for someone else’s. I’m just trying to keep my head above water, I can’t pull them up too. I try, but sometimes I just can’t.
You can basically react to everything he has and you’ll be happy. The song “Diazepam” is a banger. And Insomnia. Unless you did those, I’m catching up on your stuff now lol
Yes. That's one thing I've always learned about my own anxiety. It gets worse when you don't want it to be apart of you, when you're avoiding it. We're anxious all the time, it's a great benefit to the brain. In the same way that Inside Out taught us that fear and sadness are what we make of them and necessary. I actually liked learning to lean into it and making it apart of me rather than something to hate. I'm not a therapist lol. Just telling you what worked for me and others and wanted to offer that perspective.
Your four leaf clover line is hilarious 😂 I'm working on a Reaction Concert to Humble and Ocean and I'd love to incorporate your reaction. Do you mind if I do that? I'm trying to create the concerts in such a way that they promote the featured reaction channels, but I also respect y'all way too much to want to make you angry or feel used. Right now I'm: (1) putting your channel name on the video whenever you speak so people can find you, (2) creating a youtube playlist with all the reactions used in a concert, and (3) shouting out prominently used reactions in the description field. Please see my channel if you want to get a sense of what I'm doing. Thank you for your consideration!
Hey! I really appreciate that haha. It made me laugh when I looked back when I edited it. Of course you can include it, I don't mind at all. :) Just show me when you're done, or even tag me if that's possible. Thanks for the breakdown as well, it's really no sweat at all. I just peeped your channel and it's very creative how you're doing it. Just make me look good too! Haha.
Thank you! Trust me you'll look good, you got that built in! Only thing is to try to reduce the amount of time that the video overlaps with your face in your reactions (a common issue with reaction videos). Either record yourself staggered a bit off to one side, so there's a spot for the music video when you produce the reaction, or scale up the recording and slide it over to one side a bit to make room during production. I'll share back here when its done, as well as tag you in it.@@TheBlackSpeed
Haha well that's nice of you to say. Yeah, that's actually a late thing I noticed and believe I've already rectified, but you're more than welcome to call me out on it haha. Look at the later videos I've posted and let me know. Sounds like a plan!
The Reaction Concert is out now: ruclips.net/video/B4bstHZsz0k/видео.html! My 7-year old for the past couple days has been periodically blurting out "seven leaf clo-ver" using the same inflection you used 🤣 @@TheBlackSpeed
I tried to get my wife into Ren and I just couldn’t find a song that hit with her. I had almost given up until one day I looked over my shoulder and saw the song I was listening to had brought her to tears. These two are magic! ruclips.net/video/6z7ug3B_Sts/видео.htmlsi=i-5vXbL6DQ0MySSj
I forget, did we put his song " Hold On" on the list?
We absolutely do. On the long list that is Ren ha.
Woo-hoo! So glad you liked it. Love them together. Wish there was more than this and Ocean.
Ocean is on my regular playlist, such a great track. I, ofc, second this request🙂
Aww, thank you. I'm glad you find it infectious and you tuned in! Oceans will definitely come soon, I got you. :)
Uninvited is naughty as hell... you'll love it!❤
Heretic next. Does Ren know he’s the shit? Here’s a line from Heretic…
“I’m a force of nature, don’t you know I’m aware of it…”
I thought of this line immediately, this is right as his energy engulfs him and his hair turns blond. 🤣
Love Heretic
Look at that, we think alike haha.
Love Heretic
I love this one! So glad you liked it. Thanks for the reaction. ☮️❤️😎
Your face on the "four leaf clover" seems spot on...lol. I can picture Ren doing it too! I recommend Ocean by Ren feat. Eden Nash as well, and Heretic by Ren. Both are fantastic!
ocean is gonna be your new favorite :kappa
you might wanna bring the lyrics to keep up though
Lmao that made me laugh doing that, I'm glad you liked it.
Oh? I'll try to remember that, may just bring the captions back on as a default again.
Whoop!! 😊 Can't wait...hope you Love it too!✌️💫💜
Ren just loves to rap. Making fast raps just makes him feel good.
He sprinkles them in for crescendo.

I think Ren knows he's very good but also knows he could be a lot better.. Dangerous talent. but I'm sure you can relate ;)
Ayeeeee. I can relate. ;) Haha thank you for that.
Ocean is a banger too, great reaction my man.

All coming soon, too! I've heard I need to listen, so definitely will check it out. I'm finding my style and sound in him that I like.
That smoothness is his cheekiness to overcome the adversity of being Ren.

Haha you got catching up to do! I haven't yet, more to come though for sure!
Surely he knows he’s good
Much love ❤️ Sue
Dear Renegades, can y'all list all the Ren songs that fit the Ready For You, Humble, Ocean genre?
Right? Haha. That's the vibe I'm going for with him these days.
@@TheBlackSpeed Yeah, what would we call that, "chill, emotional, sing/rap"?
Chill hop, alternative rap, alt r&b, something along those lines, yeah I like it.
Omg...you havent heard Illest of our time, have you?! Illest meaning dope rapper and because its Ren - the most unwell....sick as f....!
Nope, not yet, but I'm going to do that one soon enough!
