So I looked at this and thought what an awesome pendant. This is with the butterfly and the basket weave behind it. Then once I started listening, it’s just your earring card! Hint hint.
Thank you Donna for another great tutorial. I was wondering if you could show us how to properly reduce a cane. I would love to reproduce this cane but just the fact that I need to reduce it scares me. Thank you 🌷
If you keep watching Dona’s classes, there are quite a few where she shows how to reduce. Alternatively, if you type “polymer clay reduce” in the search 🔎 box, you’ll find lots of tutorials from various artists. They sometimes show a different method that might work better for you. I hope this helps
@@DonnaKatoArt Yes, I would like to see a (possibly) 2 hour, nothing but reducing video. Just sometime when you're working on a cane and you just film the whole time and then upload with no editing.
So much information to make these lovely earrings. I have a question about the backing. I like to use fish hooks for my earrings and since they move, I like seeing the cane on the back if they turn. Your thoughts on this?
I think that'd be lovely, Linda! One of the reasons I put a sheet backing on is that the two halves might split apart. If you made the pieces thicker, that would minimize that from happening but still might. Cheers, D
Hi Donna, I had to turn off the sound because of all the background talking and I couldn't hear wbat you were saying. It seems that the background noise is becoming a lot worse. Maybe you should record and then do voice overs when that happens? FYI, Cheers. ❤
@DonnaKatoArt Seems to start around 41:53, but it might be before that. It sounds like your husband is talking to another guy about remodeling. Hope this helps. I just don't want you to lose viewers because of this. Maybe you need to get a light with a red bulb so that when it is on people in your house will know that you are recording?
The integration of the white triangle into the skinner blend is an amazing tip. 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
That sounded more like a noisy Vernon than a TV. 😂😂😂 Doink!
Always so excited when you post a video!!! Love the projects and I learn so many nifty tips! You’re the best, Donna!
👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾 wonderful, good class. Thank you, DK❤
Thanks for including past classes.
You're welcome, Kathleen! I thought about it and it's probably getting hard to locate old classes! Hugs, D
I remember that cane... Love that one too. ❤
Fabulous Donna, thank you x

Hi Mona! I will do that, reduction does occur in other tutes but I think it should appear as a tute! Hugs, D

When you cure your clay do you put something over the piece?

Let me listen. I turn the tv off so there shouldn’t be background noise!
I can’t find the background noise! Can you tell me where it is! Thanks!
