Ive never experienced such second hand embarrassment in my life this was basically an interview/ work event and people get bringing personal business to their job and you can tell they were trying to ignore it but got harder the longer they stayed on live he was so twitchy and awkward
They are young and we have to show them grace it’s all a part of growing up. I just wish the people in the chat had more decorum! At the end of the day it’s not just their show there’s so many other actors involved, and we need this show to continue, so people should’ve definitely just asked questions about the show and about the art form of acting, and kept their personal lives out of it! At the end of the day I’m rooting for them as individuals and the show because we need shows like this that depict our people in such a positive light✨‼️
A lot of these “fans” have no shame or common sense, this live was so unbearable and cringe to watch due to the comments!! At first I though they where just fine and obviously as they where talking to a older woman whom they work with they were a-bit chill and didn’t want to do too much, the comments did not stop about “no chemistry” and “how weird” this that and the third!! Like do you not have common sense it’s an interview what really did you want them to do?! Jump up and down to prove they’re good? I know we ain’t seeing them for a minute and I’m GLAD. They need to rejuvenate.
I don’t even know why people keep asking the same question every day it’s annoying now. I js hope they don’t let the fans get into their head. Cus whatever they have is beautiful

She clearly did not know he wasn’t following her and it was also enough for her to delete the pics of him in her last post and the repost from his mom promoting this interview. The Interview was awkward and uncomfortable for me and it appears for them too. I hope Zay is able to get a PR coach because he’s unable to clearly articulate his thoughts. I think it’s important to remember that these people are still young and they may be new to romantic relationships. I caught what seemed to be subliminal messages from Que. Comments: Swagger seems to have a younger fan base and kids don’t recognize the appropriate platform for nonsense. However, Q & Zay opened the door to comments and scrutiny. I hope whomever they date next, they keep it PRIVATE.

This is exactly why people keep their relationships private. There will always be negative people in the world but people are the worst behind that keyboard. A lot of relationships don’t last because they go public. I was so excited for this live but the comments were awful. Maybe bc I’m in my 30’s and majority of the commenters are young😕

I just hate how people can’t separate the characters from the real people. Before there was a Q&Zay it was Crystal & Jace, that’s who people fell in love with first. Now everyone so caught up with the wrong stuff. It’s so disappointing.
Cause I was like Huh? Every time zay answered ngl LOL and tbh that is not like him. Anytime in the past when him and Q have done interviews together he has always handled himself very well. He seemed so off for this one tho and I don’t think it has anything to do with the comments. I feel like the comments just added to it.

Looking at the live again, I think that Q and Zay did the best that they could under the circumstances. Zay was more reserved, but he always is on lives regarding Swagger business. The comments PISSED ME OFF THOUGH. They pretty much embarrassed these young people in front of the show creator's wife smh. This was NOT a personal live but the comments were 75% personal content. IMO it totally overshadowed the point of the live, which was to build on the show's momentum for a possible renewal. All this personal drama highlighted by the "fans" may hinder that renewal unfortunately.
I think Q and Zay did a good job. Zay is usually reserved during his interviews about Swagger. Also, considering that Gina was interviewing them he was going to keep it professional because he respects and love her. The personal drama should not hinder the show renewal because some castmates from other shows have done more worsts things and more drama surrounding them and the shows still were renewed. In fact, the interest in Q/Crystal and Zay/Jace should contribute to why the should get a renewal....Hollywood feeds off things like this.

YES Ahmad (Bakari) and Zay's other friend Bentley were both posting those childish emojis smh. Ahmad is an actor and should know better acting up during a professional interview. And IMO if they had to keep reminding Zay to "stand on business" then it's obvious that he still has genuine feelings for Q and they knew he might fold interacting with her
His “friends” definitely added to the awkwardness and were just being plain rude and unprofessional. That was not the time. The live was about J&C in hopes of getting everyone excited again and hopefully new fans watching show or fans to rewatch so Apple can renew. Very disappointed that Zay would let his “friends” influence how he interacts, treats, or feels about Q. Definitely a sign of immaturity.
